Take jobs as they come -- and we'll never be under the heel of nobody ever again. No matter how long the arm of the Alliance might get, we'll just get ourselves a little further.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Sylar killed the car thief with the brick he picked up from the newstand.
Ah ha! Thanks. That scene happened when I was pureeing, so I missed it.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

Did the cops recover? OK, I missed that. So Maya has yet to kill anyone on purpose.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Now I want a crossover where Ned from Pushing Daisies gets stalked by the Company.

Okay, so it's early and my brain is not necessarily firing on all cylinders....

Art Crawl!!!

He can follow Sylar around bringing people back to life.

So - the 12 people in the picture: was the guy in the lower rh side Latino looking to you?

I wondered if he wasn't a connection to los gemelos aburridos.

To understand what happened at the diner, we shall use Mr. Papaya! This is upsetting because he's the friendliest of fruits.

The guy with the mustache?

The Heroes Wiki has a pretty good roundup of what little we know, including tidbits of questionable canon from the various games, such as Papa Petrelli's first name (Arthur.)

The Latino-looking guy with the mustache and the black woman (I'm not syaing African-American because it's entirely possible she's not American at all) have been much speculated about. Not in the photo? Nikki's dad or Uhura. But that doesn't mean there's not direct family ties to the Group of 12.

Kiss me, my girl, before I'm sick.

I was speculating about how the Hawkins/Dawson family is connected to the Twelve with a friend of mine, then she mentioned how "Deveaux" could easily be a name for someone originally from south Louisiana. I wouldn't be surprised at all if Nana Dawson was in some way connected to the Deveaux family. While the Dawsons are poverty-stricken in the wake of the storm, there are some hints that they were much better off before Katrina.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I had a minor fit in my LJ this morning about the Dawsons' house. Apparently there's supposed to be a water line on the house. (I assume that means the outside of the house.)

So where did they get the money to fix up the house? I see a couple of possibilities:

1) Monica's college fund. Assuming she had one.
2) Insurance, though I'd love to know which member of that family had the time to deal with the bureaucracy of insurance payments after the storm.
3) Federal rebuilding program (currently running short of money)

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Which one is Matt's father?
