Also known in Middlesex County as "'Evacuation' Day."

I got a care package from my grandmother today, containing 10 dish towels and 2 sets of potholders. The note said "This is what your Mom said you needed!" and so now I have to call my mom and find out exactly what she said to make my grandmother think I needed 10 dish towels.
That's so cute.
I guess they'll come in handy when the baby's born.
Anything absorbent will.
I expect spare dishclothes will make excellent burp shields.
Sims 2 has all sorts of cute behaviors... and one of them is, if a high-active Sim tosses the baby in the air while Playing with him, there's a chance the baby vomits on him!
Only on good days. On bad days, they close up and just kinda snorfle.
Jesse, did you know there's a new H&M at like 20th & 5th? It's a good one, and not that crowded.
Ooh, I did not know that! Although now that I think about it, I remember the Coming Soon signs. There's a Banana right there, too! Maybe I'll do that. Not that I've gotten dressed or anything, yet.
In other news, I'm thinking about branching out into knead bread, after a couple of go-rounds with the no-knead, but every recipe I have starts out with scalding milk, and I don't know, that doesn't appeal. What's it about? I really like the concept of it being just flour and water and yeast and salt. Does anyone have a simple basic bread recipe?
You can replace scalded milk with dry milk and warm water, if that's your only objection.
I thought I had a really basic flour+ yeast+water recipe, and I do, but it's for pizza dough.
I plan on doing nothing today AGAIN. This healing stuff is boring. I can't wait until my two-week appointment next Tuesday, and hope I'll be cleared to do more things.
