If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Honestly, you can take the same components from the no-knead (though I would add a little more yeast and salt) and just make it normally.

Proof the yeast, let it rise 'til doubled, punch it down and knead, shape into loaves, let rise again, and bake. Done! If you spritz the loaves with water a handful of times during baking you'll get a similar crust effect.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Cool, thanks, brenda. It seemed like that would be the case, which was why I was a little flummoxed by all the additional ingredients in the other recipes I was finding!

Mostly lurking...

Wishing that I had some yeast. Thelma feels like more baking.

I'm laundering. I should be cleaning too, but I may wait till later. I'm letting the warmer temps clear off my car (all but the wiper well is snow free!) and I'll have to deslush behind the tires, since I had to park on about a half inch of that crap, but it could be a lot worse.

I finallly forced myself to make a decision and I bought a bed! I paid a little more than I planned, but I figure over the life of a bed, what's a coupld of hundred bucks.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Yay new bed, Sue! A whole new bed, or a new mattress?

I just saw the pilot of Raines! It was really good! I'm relieved that he doesn't actually see dead people. I was afraid of a Medium clone. And I heart Jeff Goldblum. Anyone else remember a movie he did called Mr. Frost? He played the devil.

New sleep set. I don't go in for anything so fancy as headboards.

I didn't have a headboard for years, until I brought home one of the beds my grandfather made. It's very comforting. Except when the slats fall out in the middle of the night. Grandfather didn't believe in measuring twice.

I'm relieved that he doesn't (whitefont isn't needed, right?)

Yeah, I think whitefont is needed, actually.

I really like the headboard (whole wooden bed situation, actually) I finally got this year. I don't roll the bed away from the wall in the night anymore!

God, I forgot about that! It might be an issue on hardwood floors.

I have a piece of plywood I was thinking about turning into an upholstered headboard, but that won't help if I keep rolling away.
