I got a care package from my grandmother today, containing 10 dish towels and 2 sets of potholders. The note said "This is what your Mom said you needed!" and so now I have to call my mom and find out exactly what she said to make my grandmother think I needed 10 dish towels. I guess they'll come in handy when the baby's born.

That's hilarious. When I moved in my first apartment, my grandmother sent me a ton of hand towels and a huge stock pot and some other stuff I forget what. Her rationale was that she didn't need all that stuff anymore, being alone. Um... did she think I was moving into my apartment with a husband and three kids?

Speaking of bananas, I was going to make banana bread today (assuming the bananas in my fridge aren't bad yet), but I apparently have no loaf pan! WTF? I know I used to. So I was thinking about going into the city and going to Williams-Sonoma, because it's near Banana Republic (bananas everywhere!), where I need to return some pants, and H&M, which I've been meaning to swing by, but then I realized that that's where the St. Pat's parade is, I'm pretty sure, so that's not going to work today. Hmph. Also could that sentence be any longer? I think no.

I am also making banana bread today. I'm gonna make one big loaf and four little loaves. Mmmmm...banana bread.

It's also possible I'll make muffins instead, since I do have a muffin tin right here. We'll see how it goes.
