Zoe: Preacher, don't the Bible have some pretty specific things to say about killing? Book: Quite specific. It is, however, somewhat fuzzier on the subject of kneecaps.

Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

Ugh, Cash. I really hope you don't have shingles.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Basically, S woke up and was very, VERY angry with me for something really rude and nasty I'd done to her in a dream.

I have had Aims not talk to me for two whole days for something Dream!Joe did that Actual!Joe would never do.

It is of the insane-making.

What is even happening?

Oh, poor Sean (and S).

I've woken up angry at Scott for things I've thought he's done, but that I've only dreamed he's done. Sometimes, the dream has been real enough, that even after I realized it was a dream, I've stayed a little angry, inside.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Teppy, can I smack the Committee chair with my copy of the OED? Please?

Now tagless for your comfort.

Teppy, that kind of asstasticness will make one feel bad. But that guy is begging for a smiting.

assberet

New favorite term.

She didn't give you the antiviral for the Shingles, just in case? It's really important to take that early on in the outbreak, if it is Shingles. Where is the rash, Cashmere? Is it only on one side? What does it look like? Is there pain?

It's starting at the point right in the middle of the boobs at the bra strap line and working it's way down my tummy to my waistband. On my back, it's starting right along my spine. both front and back are more on the right side of my body. I just noticed the rash day before yesterday, I think. There is some pain at this point but the rash is small, red bumps that are getting these teeny blisters that are weeping. There's some tingling but I don't know if that's just normal itching.

Cashmere, when my grandfather had Shingles, he said it was the single most painful thing he'd ever experienced. This is a guy who dealt with shrapnel in WW2 and anesthesia-free dentistry. I seriously doubt that you've got it.

I'm skeptical as well. There's not really pain per se and I know two people that got stress related cases here and they were in agony. I told the doctor that but she said there's no definite pattern and not all cases have severe pain. Then she said it could just be starting and could get more painful (that's the kind of postive thinking I like to hear).

She didn't give you the antiviral for the Shingles, just in case?

If it gets worse over the weekend, I'm to call on Monday and she'll call in a script. Hopefully, I won't need it.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

If shingles affects the nerves, which only happens is a small percentage of the people, it can be terribly painful. On the other hand, my sister had shingles last year at 49, and it was just itchy for maybe a week.

Woke up fighting.

(Basically, S woke up and was very, VERY angry with me for something really rude and nasty I'd done to her in a dream. This woke me up and I couldn't figure out what she was so upset about, and on my best days I react poorly to being woken up, so it made me very cranky. She still hasn't told me what I did to her in her dream)

Man, I'm glad I'm not the only one that's been in the doghouse for something Dream!Me has done! DH has woken up completely angry at me for some sort of dream infraction more than once.

Ah-ha! Gramps had the nervy kind.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I have had Aims not talk to me for two whole days for something Dream!Joe did that Actual!Joe would never do.

Well, then get Dream!Joe to stop being such an assfedora!

My favorite was when I woke up angry at B.
