If shingles affects the nerves, which only happens is a small percentage of the people, it can be terribly painful. On the other hand, my sister had shingles last year at 49, and it was just itchy for maybe a week.

Also? I have this fucked up thing going on with my elbow. When I put pressure on it in a certain place, it feels like there's a piece of glass in there or something. OW!
