Early: So is it still her room when it's empty? Does the room, the thing, have purpose? Or do we -- what's the word? Simon: I really can't help you. Early: The plan is to take your sister. Get the reward, which is substantial. 'Imbue.' That's the word.

Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Ah...see, that's different. You are making minions out of other people's children. If you had children, you would turn them into emos and so on and so forth.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Bwah! I'm feeling the need to mention how much I love this thread and all of the spicy brains here before I sign out to get some dinner.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

GC, consider the argument that Google should not be the gatekeeper of the world's information (it's been the job of libraries/librarians/universities -- have we failed?)

Aha! Travelocity is to Travel Agents as Google Books is to Librarians.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Mommy - where do Klingons come from?

From jock parents, tommy.

They're God's punishment to jock parents.

Now go watch DS9.

What is even happening?

Today, I learned about a new TV pilot in pre-production called The Cashmere Mafia. I was much more excited about it when I was pretending it was about Cashmere, and various friends, ruling the criminal underworld.

MM, I think your tagline is misnumerated. Should be 8675309.

Mostly lurking...

I just jokingly told my mom I'd make baby hats for a group baby shower she's going to on Sunday. She thought I was serious. Better get crocheting something other than orange and purple hats.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I read about the Cashmere Mafia in the latest Entertainment Weekly--it stars (or co-stars) Miranda Otto, so I'll definitely tune in for at least the first ep to see her!

Is she gonna be all whiny and sloe-eyed at hot, scruffy rangers she'll never ever have? Cause I've seen that.
