Fuck. My temperature is back up.
I need this to be a thing that goes away quickly. For S's sake.
Damn it.
'Lessons'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Would some Slings & Arrows and alcohol over the weekend help any?
I'm listening to Rob Zombie
Lurves juliana.
{{{{{bitches}}}}} Y'all get better, now. World - lay off my bitches. Seriously.
I get to head back to lovely Boise tonight. Wheeeeeeeeeee! Have not decided if I'm taking the laptop or not. I return Friday afternoon...so this is just a quicky.

Just make sure nurse gets the hairdryer, the dentist gets the three day pass to Tokyo, Frank gets the birthday party and Klinger can get the signatures on his Section 8.
I love that episode!
Ah, M*A*S*H. I haven't watched it in a long time, but I miss it. My dad could probably quote from every episode. He watches it pretty much every day still.
Where's MM? I just had the talkiest meat work phone call evah! We were down to her discussing her health problems with me.
God, I hate those. "Ma'am, your goiter sounds completely fascinating, but 1) I don't care and 2) It's fucking gross. Now, can I help you with something?"
Another favorite, during the pause while you look something up for the customer: "So. You guys are in California?" "Yes." "How's the weather?"
I always want to say: "We're in Southern California. We don't have 'weather', we have 'climate'. Also, sir...SHUT THE FUCK UP FOR FIVE SECONDS, WILL YOU? FIVE SECONDS! CAN YOU JUST DEAL WITH FIVE SECONDS OF SILENCE? Jesus! Take some fucking Ritalin or something while I attempt to get the information you requested.
Also? Shut up."
JZ, yes it might. I've got Sunday open. Bless.
JZ, yes it might. I've got Sunday open. Bless.
Let's do it!
juliana, EXCELLENT. I'll be around all Sunday afternoon and evening from 4:00 on. Hec may be out much of the time working on the book, but I'm around.
That goes for Emily and Lee, too, btw. They just have to agree to set a portion of the visit aside for the ritual cursing of juliana's eeevul job.
Fever
1) I am not surprised that the fever is back - they often come back in the afternoon 2) I take baths when I have a fever, It gives me a chance to feel more comfortabel - not too hot or too cold 3) my doctor said 104 - not bad for an adult unless it persists . For a child that is very bad.
Complaining We spent part of the morning trying to define complaining at the cafe. Hard. anything that goes mememe and talking about it adds to your negative feelings is a complaint. yelling at some one cutting you off - not a complaint. spending a bunch of time talking about the bad drivers - a complaint
For DH, he can get into the negative sprial space . for me some times I don't talk enough about things. I find sometimes it is better for me to talk until I start boreing myself.
S's temp is now down to 101.4. Still not great, but much better.
I like to think of that as a good fever. High enough to indicate the immune system is fighting the germs, low enough that it's not freak out zone.

Actually, little ones tend to spike high fevers, and I know Chris seemed way less sick at 103.9 than Ben did. Some kids have seizures when their temp spikes though, so maybe that's what he was talking about. 104 is high for everyone, though. Doctors tend to freak less about fevers than us mundanes, but they're not the ones who are sick, or giving the active care to the sick person.
