That's disturbing. You're emotionally scarred and will end up badly.

Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Jeesh, a three-day vaca, and all I wanted to do was get on-line -- and could I? Not till now.

And yeah, we're talking painkillers! Fun! I wish I had one. Cramps. Not fun. Pretty much the only painkiller I've ever had was Vicodin, and it was fine. Vicodin with muscle relaxers, for a couple of sprains, and that was a fun combo. Hooboy.

I dyed my hair a couple of weeks ago; it's darker than my usual and it took a couple of days for me to decide whether I liked it or not, but I do. It's a dark brown with burgundy shot through it. It's wine-y.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

No, it means ita's not-boyfriend stands over you and makes you eat sensible food.

Nutella is sensible. But then so is sushi.

Yeah--FWIW, he makes me eat sushi twice a week.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

What a weird kinda crap day. The weather, definitely crap. Homemade mac & cheese for lunch, not crap. Sorting the last 2.5 years of random "important" papers into piles so that we can file them, crap. Three episodes of Dr. Who The Ninth on BBC America, not crap. Car didn't even start this morning to drive it to the garage, crap. We had an appointment anyway and the place is directly behind us, so Tom went and explained, and then when they were ready to work on the car, they came by, gave it a jump, and brought it to the garage, not crap. My grandma sounds very old, frail, and tired, crap. I finally called her after 2 days of worrying, not crap BUT JUST KIDDING, I suck.

OK! More filing!

Starting my car this morning was such an adventure that I came in late after letting my car sit in sunlight for a couple of hours to melt some of the ice.

What is even happening?

Nora, is your grandmother still in the hospital?

Yeowch, PixiBitch! I fell yesterday on KC's lovely sheet o' ice, and watched a girl take a dive on the sidewalk, but I fall down a lot, so it's par for the course.

I just got back after braving the FUCKING COLD cold to get a pack of cigs and some (yum) chocolate covered cherries. Coffee now -- tasty.

All the talk of ita's new BF (for reals? I S&S'd) made me ask the staff of the gourmet place down the street of they get Blue Mt. coffee, and they do. I've still never tasted it, so I think the next batch they get in, I'ma buy me a wee bit and try it.

I do too. In fact, I'm accident-prone enough that ND created Rule #1: "Don't hurt yourself."

He says that I'm so bad at Rule #1 that we may never get to Rule #2.

PixiBitch!

P.S. I love this.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

An ex-BF and I had a "one injury at a time" rule.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Well, for having to call in to work, I've been remarkably productive. I put in a cable splitter so I now get teevee reception (sssssh!) as well as cable modem, and I installed my new jewelry holders. I couldn't find necklace displays that I liked, so I bought a couple ornamental plant hangers and put those in.

Still sick, though. Sinuses and non-productive coughing. I want to go for a run, but worry about the coughing bit.
