How did your brain even learn human speech? I'm just so curious.

Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

All is well that ends in pizza.

Real or put on? [link]

Or just a really questionable product name?

Mostly lurking...

I'm reading a journal article about academic procrastination. Apparently, students who procrastinate do better in school. No wonder I do so well! The key has finally been unlocked!

What is even happening?

Okay, if I had to be up from 2 to 5 so vw could sleep, I'm down with that, but one of you other Bitches has to take tonight.

Yay for sleeping through, vw!

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

{{{{{Sean}}}}} I'm so sorry that you and S are going through this.

sj, I hope the weather has let up--or at least the aches and pains.

Thanks, Deena. Today is better. It's not raining and I have had lots of back rubs and snuggles.

I SLEPT ALL NIGHT!!!!!!!!!

Woo Hoo, vw!!! That is excellent news. May it be a continuing trend.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Yay for sleeping through the night, vw!

I purposely turned off my alarm clock last night so that I could get however much sleep I needed. I ended up waking up at about 9:30, just half an hour after my usual wakeup time.

I've discovered a yummy new breakfast idea, though -- fried egg on top of a slice of polenta (both cooked in one pan in a little bit of Smart Balance.) Very yummy.

What is even happening?

Ha! This morning, I was wondering if you were a vegan, or a vegetarian, Hil. I'd always thought you were a vegetarian, until recently. Now I know.

I'm glad you're feeling better, sj.

Our wings are not tired.

I've slept the last couple nights so you can take tonight Cindy. I don't have anything critical on the list tomorrow.

Opening stuff done at the baseball park so I have a 40 minute window to run home and toss in a load of laundry and read posts before heading out to the first game of the season. Go Indians!

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I slept like a ROCK, because I can't take ibuprofen due to the upcoming surgery and the only other cramp releiver we had was Tylenol PM. I'm going to be groggy all day. Benedryl, you wily mistress, you make us both sleepy and jittery, damn you and your pain-relieving ways.

What is even happening?

Thanks, Laura. Tomorrow is my 40th birthday, so I'd like to be bright eyed and bushy tailed.

Robin, I had to stop taking Benadryl when I was sick (I was only taking it at bedtime) because it left me terribly shaky the next morning. It was awful.

What day is your surgery?
