Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Can you guess where this is going?
Same place as the nephlet having his pocketknife in the wrong place last year? Yeah...

Glad he's accepting his punishment. Sorry that it came up at all though.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Glad he's accepting his punishment.

Yeah, he's totally contrite and taking responsibility. I thought he'd be evasive and try to lawyer me.

Our wings are not tired.

Ack. I hate the talking to and tears stuff. Kids need to stop doing stupid stuff. It would make the parenting thing so much easier.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Lots of ~ma for Sean and S.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Can you guess where this is going?

Ouch.

Our wings are not tired.

Well, it's Friday night and I can sleep in tomorrow and yet my body is demanding to go to bed. Stupid body.

Tomorrow I have a facial scheduled. GF wanted to get me a massage, but a facial sounded better to me. Maybe I'll get the hair chopped too.

Too tired. G'night all.

It's been so long since Emmett merited a punishment I had to remind myself how it's done and upgrade it for his age. And like his toddler years, the idea that he was getting punished was so much that it was almost incidental. He was "Yeah yeah yeah" as I ticked off the privileges lost, just wanting it to be over.

When I was done I went back into his room and said, "You know, I'm upset with what you did, but I always love you."

And he said, "You've told me that a hundred times for all the hundred mistakes I've made."

Which was actually nice, because he does know that.

(And he's made way more than 100 mistakes, but they were all bunched between 2 and 4.)

Most of the punishment stuff has to do with school. Why won't they just do the damn work!?! Now that Brendon has his driver's permit that means one more thing to take away. Whee! That's the big thing these days. Take the phone. Take the computer. Soon, take the keys. They're not bad kids. Just not motivated to do school work.

Really, going to fall asleep at the keyboard...

How are you me? You need to stop that. Only I can be me. ~Kara

Night night Laura, have lovely dreams.

I'm in a very good mood. I hope no one has a pin nearby.

Sean, much ma for you and S. I think she should be well and happy and everything should be easy from you guys from here on out. If I had my blasted magic wand, it would be done. Since I don't, I'll load up on the ~ma.

vw, I'm glad you're home. I hadn't said that yet. I hope things get easier for you, too.

Nora, darling Nora, I have been worried about you the last little bit. You seem kinda dark and cranky and I want you to be well and happy. Maybe you could lighten the load somewhere? I hope something makes things snap to even-better-than-ever soon.

Tep, I am awfully impressed with both you and the boy. He seems like a really great guy and I'm glad you've got him. I'm especially glad that you're not letting other people take you for granted and abuse you. I can't recall what it was you said during the course of the last few days, but I was reading along and there you were, and I was all proud to know you and grinning at you for being who you are.

Hec, you rock. I want to cut my hair even shorter now, just to entertain you.

sj, I hope the weather has let up--or at least the aches and pains.

I will stop babbling now.

P.S. You're all the awesome.

Lee? Boing! Stop getting high. It sends a bad message to us impressionable people. I'm having a beer right now, and I'm blaming it on you.

Edited because noon is not no one.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Lee? Boing! Stop getting high. It sends a bad message to us impressionable people. I'm having a beer right now, and I'm blaming it on you.

it's Juliana and Suzi's fault, and Bob Seger's.

Hooray beer.

I've had vodka, and chocolate.
