Oh, God. Oh, God. My hair. My hair! The government gave me bad hair!

Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What is even happening?

D'oh! That's right.

Or was it, silently but publically?

Oh connie, how cute!

By the way, Bitches, do you like publically or publicly?

Ben had written publicly down on a spelling homework paper, and I corrected him, then looked at his word list. I was surprised.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Hee! Princess Bunny!

DH's office is runnning a contest to raise money for Operation Feed (the local food bank). Each manager has a cup out for people to donate money to the one they most want to see dress up as a leprechaun for St. Patrick's Day. DH has $27 in there already. The next closest manager has $3. He suspects a conspiracy.

I've got the kids solo tonight since he has a work trip to NYC and he leaves straight from work this afternoon.

Calm-ma for Matt. Or should it be Not Choke a Bitch~ma?

Hee! You must post pictures if he wins, or should I say loses?

Much ~ma to Matt. I'm so glad he is getting out of there.

Oh, I think if he "wins", everybody wins. I don't know if he even has any green clothes.

Publicly certainly does look funny to me. But it's one of those words I always double check because my lack of spelling ability.

Well, they're both right, except Clearly, publicly is wrong and also yucky.

I agree with this.

Ann, that's a ferret.

I'd ignore the whole thing and recast so I could say "in public." But I'm sure that wouldn't help on a spelling test.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

"Publicly" looks right to me, because "publical" isn't a word. I think I was taught that you use the "-ally" adverb ending only if the adjective has the "-al" ending. Also, when I see "publically," I want to try to pronounce it with four syllables, which sounds weird.
