eek, Cindy! In good health news, I just got back from the nutritionist and I have lost 8.7 lbs in 6 weeks... which brings me to almost 15 lbs gone since November!

Hee. I don't blame you. It was just that right awful brand of funny. I was mostly laughing myself, in between eeeks! It was the laugh of an incredulous person saying, "Oh c'mon. THIS is how I'm keeping myself busy 'til my frigging nerve pill kicks in?"

Nora, rock on, you. That's awesome. And you lost it at a really safe, sane rate, which makes it more likely to stay gone. I've lost about that in the time we've been sick, but given that I lost it by not being up to eating much, I don't actually expect it to stay off as my appetite seems to have returned with a vengeance.

Thanks Cindy! I'm psyched and proud of myself. It has distracted from my previously whitefonted problem temporarily.

Heh. I couldn't find the date of my 1st nutritionist appt. so I asked Tom to look through his emails for it. He found it easily enough - Nov. 14 - but also included my comment on the appointment:

"Back from nutritionist. Blah blah yadda yadda portion size food journal keep track of fats and proteins."

Fay, your tattoo sounds beautiful! I wonder though if it will be too detailed to work as a tattoo though? If the lines are too intricate the piece will end up looking muddy. But your artist should be able to tell you if it will work or not. I have tattoos on both my ankles and they did not hurt nearly as much to get as the (bigger & multi-colored) piece on my lower back. fwiw

Nice work, Nora!!! Go team you!!! I've also lost about a pound a week since I started my program of diet and exercise in the first week of Jan. It feels like a safe and sustainable rate for me.
