Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

It's a holdover from playing rugby. "Rub some dirt in it!"

During a State of Origin rugby league match, after a guy had cut his knee in the process of scoring a try, you had the commentators opining that "all he wants now is a corner to lie down in and a dog to lick his wounds."

Um. Not so appropriate, I guess.

What is even happening?

Plei, are you around? Here's some pictures of SMG with brown hair. She looks wonderful (although I hate her dress). [link]

eta...

I meant to add (because I know a lot of Buffistas will be interested), Lee Pace is in a couple of the photos, too.

And large numbers of their damsels have a good deal of smarts and agency.

Hmmm. I missed a couple of episodes this season, although not many. Was there one where the Baddy of the Week went after the damsel and she kicked its ass? Without her being a Baddy in disguise?

More, usually, than the dudesels.

There are a lot of clueless, silly guys in the show, to be sure. But there are also a number of men who know the score and are active in the hunt. I don't remember seeing any number of women doing this. The woman I remember who knows the most about what's what does so due to her late husband's involvement and seems more like an unusually aware victim of the situation than a full participant.

Unless the dudesel is Dean, but then, we all know Dean's the girliest girl in girlonia.

That's 'cause he's the prettiest.

Nora, it's possible that the doc used a new kind of lubricant for the speculum this time, which might be causing the irritation. Itchy/burny reactions to lube aren't uncommon.

Unfortunately the only treatment is to leave it alone and let it go away on its own time. My other suggestion is anecdotal, but I think anything that increases cervical secretions will help to flush things out, for lack of a more delicate way of putting it. So, I advise you to have as many non-penetrative orgasms as possible.

Jen, would an antihistimine help?

Ugh, that sounds really uncomfortable Nora. If it is an allergic reaction, benedryl (pill form, not lotion) might help. I've had reactions to things that normally didn't cause problems when my system was primed with other allergy issues. I hope it clears up for you soon.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Plei, are you around? Here's some pictures of SMG with brown hair. She looks wonderful (although I hate her dress).

Even in that 'tater sack of a dress, she's so gorgeous.

Nora, I hope the awfulness goes away quickly.

The price I pay for taking the kids out nearly every day last week? Colds with runny noses. It's like a gift with purchase.

What is even happening?

No. Cashmere. May the colds pass quickly.

SMG really does look great. That might be the perfect hair color for her. Other browns she's had have been too severe (I'm still partial to the blonde because of Buffy, though).

To me Buffy should always be blonde, but SMG should always be a brunette. I realize that probably only makes sense in my head.

An antihistamine probably wouldn't help, because it's not a systemic allergic reaction; it's more of a contact dermatitis in a very uncomfortable place.

But it's not like taking a Benadryl would hurt, though, so maybe taking one at bedtime would at least help with getting some sleep.
