Well, we may not have parted on the best of terms. I realize certain words were exchanged. Also, certain... bullets. But that's air through the engine. It's past. We're business people.

Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

See, I love Vicoden. It makes me spinny and sleepy and silly.

Because books.

No more nightmares! God, what was up last night? I had awful dreams, too.

Sending late (but still genuine!) grandma-healing~ma to Nora. Who is *not* a jerk.

{{{Kristin}}} For the bruise, but also for you and {{{ND}}}. Those situations are so rough.

{{{Cindy}}} No more headache! Try some cake. It can't hurt.

And all of y'all who don't take pain meds can send them right to me. I can hold down anything, and right now my shoulders and the back of my neck wouldn't say no to a Vicodin or two. I've been writing nonstop for days trying to get this book done, and I think I'm permanently hunched now.

Oh, and Jess, that ligament pain SUCKS. I had that, and it's really irritating. Take it easy, and watch how you move.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I took exactly one of the pain meds I got for my tooth infection/root canal (I think it was vicodin), then gave the rest to Cass. Stuff made me feel gross, and the pain wasn't that bad.
Bless you child. For, lo, had I fucked up my back. And drugs were goooood.

I'm beginning to rival you in terms of needing a padded hamster ball.
I've got a few boxes of bubble wrap, I'll send them down.

Most of my bruises are almost gone right now. It's neat to see skin. Of course, having said that, I am bound to crash into something today.

I am oh so glad that pain meds either work or don't work for me. They don't do wonky things to my tummy or to my brain.

Except for one injected kind I got in the ER one time when pain was at a 9.5, that made me paranoid and - once I remember the name - I will never ever take it again. Pain was better than creeped out brain. It was one that is rather commonly sought in hospitals I was told.

move out and draw fire

I had nightmares night-before-last. Last night, Mallory had the nightmare and flat-out refused to go back to sleep, let alone to be in his room. I think he slept some between 4:30 am and 6:00 am...at least, that's the only time I slept, so I know he was awake otherwise.

I fell asleep on the living room floor, subsequently, with my knees up, and woke to find a series of tea lights arranged on my stomach and face.

Cute kid.

And why does he know? Because there is a strict granolas only policy in Joshua Tree.

He was visiting his aunt in Palm Desert over Christmas and she packed him off to go hiking in Joshua Tree. He was mostly complaining that it incovenienced him. @@

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Sorry to hear about the nightmares creeping about the ether last night. I hopethe aftereffects have all dissipated.
