Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Aroo?
Mom is having an artist party with another local guy I adore at the gallery where her work is. So I am flying down for the weekend to go to the party.

It's a quick trip.

How am I? Tired cause I woke up early stressing that I would sleep through my alarm. But I am all packed, showered, styled and have only to put my pants on and load Kittenish into the carrier to be out of here.

zoooooooooooom

So quick that I forgot to say that I am flying into San Diego, driving up to Joshua Tree to see mom, driving back to San Diego to see my parents and a couple of friends and then flying back. Very zoom.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Cass, I hope you have a nice weekend in CA. Sorry about the lack of sleep.

Laura, sorry about the school conference. Good luck with Bobby.

I'm waiting for TCG's stepmother to get back to me so that I can figure out what I need to get for dinner tomorrow. Other than that, I probably need to clean the apartment today.

Our wings are not tired.

Have a fun zoom zoom trip Cass.

The meeting wasn't as stressful as I anticipated. They all love the kid. He is a charmer. He kicks ass on the standardized tests that are the lifeblood of the school system. (grrrr Jeb! grrrr) But his teachers, being caring seeing the big picture kind of teachers, know that he is not even coming close to meeting his potential. They aren't satisfied by kick ass FCAT scores. They would prefer he succeed in life. I love my teachers.

Utah is being snowed upon. Now, Utah+February=Snow is not necessarily advanced mathematics, but yesterday it was 60+ degrees. We'll probably have snow in April. Springtime in the Rockies. Don't pack up the snowboots just yet.

Those are good teachers.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I would like to state for the record, that I hate Pap Smears. HATE!

And I am defiantly *not* whitefonting the mention of girly parts and procedures. ALL SHOULD KNOW OF MY UNENDING HATRED.

Because books.

"This may pinch."

Major understatement. Stupid doctors.

Sounds like Bobby has awesome teachers, Laura.

Yay for Matilda sleepage and a day off for JZ! Boo for Hec's soon-to-be quivering tendons.

It's Friday, right? God, I hope so.
