What about a half hour nap? It's still pretty early. Is that too much of a risk?

Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Yeah, I might need to. I just confirmation that it's gonna be 9:00pm, so I need to do something to make the rest of the day manageable.
hrm. I'm not sure what advice to give on the sleeping thing. My own gut reaction is... 'cause you're so tired and sleep deprived right now... is to try to nap? But I totally understand wanting to get back onto a schedule... I guess it's a question of figuring out if that's likely to happen.
Which of course is hard to do with no sleep! {{vw}}
But couldn't they give you something to help you sleep tonight, vw, if you nap a little now?

Not any more than what I already take. It'll be ok. They're just not gonna see me at my best. Ha!
Are you going to be able to get to the Plan B place?
The blood test is more accurate, and can give you results sooner than the pee-sticks.
It's more accurate (in that it quantifies how much of the hormone they're testing for is there, and isn't affected by urine dilution), but faster? The urine tests don't require sending anything to a lab, and give results in under five minutes.
I've never had a blood test for pregnancy for treatment of anything but, well, pregnancy.
All other screens for it (required before getting the pill or the IUD) have involved a urine test.

Looks like it. Won't know for sure, though, till after I'm evaluated. At 9:00pm. Blech. I'm exhausted just thinking about how that appointment is gonna go.

Not faster in terms of lab processing time, faster in terms of showing results closer to the date of conception (since it's more sensitive).
I think "faster" in this context means "earlier in the pregnancy".
I'm a strong proponent of sleeping when you are tired, vw. I understand wanting to be able to sleep tonight, but wearing yourself out meanwhile might notbe worth it.
