Well, then, this is a day I'll feel good to be me.

Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The health center has an obligation, and too many people lie or are stupid, and it is their responsiblity to make sure that she wasn't pregnant.

While that is true, out of pocket costs plus the delay of giving the shot would more than irk me--I think they speak of flawed procedure.

VW, to echo what everyone said: parents' worry is pretty much independent of how good or bad their children are. It's in the job description of the good parents.

I will not, however, go to Taco Bell, order a 7-layer burrito, shove it into a FedEx envelope, and send it to you.

Add a ziplock freezer baggie plus a FedEx box and it is all good. Or at least less bad.

What would you suggest? I mean, they have to give a test. It was not that they could not have given Hil the shot, I think that she had to go somewhere (am I remembering correctly?)

Can't you pee on a stick for less than $40?

I'm not sure how the charging went, and if making pregnancy tests (because I bet it's the argument with women who haven't had dicksex that makes for the most disgruntlement) a standard part of the procedure would work better.

Punishingly Intricate

(because I bet it's the argument with women who haven't had dicksex that makes for the most disgruntlement)

Reminds me of the very funny conversation a lesbian friend had with medical staff about what kind of birth control she used. They would not accept "I do not have sex with men" as an answer.

I've learned that I'm going to have a pregnancy test every time I walk into the ER, urgent care, or GYN. No matter what I'm there for. It's just a part of life.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Can't you pee on a stick for less than $40?

The blood test is more accurate, and can give you results sooner than the pee-sticks.

Because books.

Still, it seems that if it's something the clinic insists on to cover its own ass (i.e. not giving treatment or whatever potentially harmful to a fetus), it should be their responsibility to cover the cost.

I would write a strongly worded letter at the very least.

Also, I think sending Taco Bell FedEx is just funny enough to attempt.

Ok. Whine ahead.

They may not be able to evaluate me till 9:00pm tonight. I've been up since 2:30am, and I'm trying very hard not to nap so I might actually sleep tonight. But, I don't know if I can make it till 9.
