Spike ,'Never Leave Me'

Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Isn't 40 British pounds converted to American dollars something like ONE BILLION DOLLARS?

looks at January credit card bill

Yes.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

But my hair looks nice.

Better than nice. You look very pretty there.

S to the A -- using they/them pronouns!

if there is ANY way you can obtain this and send it to me,

That's disgusting. Sure.

I will send you Trader Joe's booty and instant grits and other American crap.

SCORE.

I mean. Pirate's Booty and Cheetohs, OH MY GOD PLEASE.

It's about $80, which makes it the most I have ever spent on any part of my body that wasn't physically ill ever. I thought David might be proud. Glad you like it, honey!

It's a very good cut for you. It releases your curls so that they may gallivant about your face in a pleasing fashion.

Woot! Disgusting British food for me! t edit But it has to be specifically the Guinness Marmite, not regular Marmite (b/c we have that here).

I will send you Trader Joe's booty and instant grits and other American crap.

SCORE.

I will not, however, go to Taco Bell, order a 7-layer burrito, shove it into a FedEx envelope, and send it to you.

Hil, I think you should complain to TPTB for the health center. She was essentially calling you a liar and forcing a $40 test on you. Just wrong.

I disagree. The health center has an obligation, and too many people lie or are stupid, and it is their responsiblity to make sure that she wasn't pregnant. I feel you on the wasted $40, though.

At £3, that will not be a problem. They said it went into stores on Monday, so it should be available.

Dammit, woman, we've had this discussion before! It's just one request!

£3 -- that's about $5,000 American, right? (Seriously, the exchange rate is FUCKED.)

I know, I know. I'm a hater.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The health center has an obligation, and too many people lie or are stupid, and it is their responsiblity to make sure that she wasn't pregnant.

While that is true, out of pocket costs plus the delay of giving the shot would more than irk me--I think they speak of flawed procedure.

VW, to echo what everyone said: parents' worry is pretty much independent of how good or bad their children are. It's in the job description of the good parents.
