Laga, thank goodness I don't have a light frame like that woman---otherwise, I fear that would be my doom too.

Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Have you made diagrams?
I have! And I have all kinds of ambitious ideas. It's the actual planting of, and subsequent failure to kill, stuff that's going to be a problem
Hah. When we were house hunting I was obsessively checking light requirements, (full sun, partial sun, shade), and soil requirements and trying to figure flower beds, and... basically I've done very little, but I did buy a whole bunch of bulbs and plant them in the fall. I'm hoping the rabbits didn't eat them and the weird warm and then cold weather we had didn't kill them. I love bulbs. A bajillion of them are windflowers, which are some of my favorites.
This has been a weekend of minor organization. First I shifted the tea around so I had a place to put all my candles. there is room for more candles - but really, there is no more room for tea.
then we have a stupid hanging cabinet that we are planning to take down It has doors that open into the kitchen and doors that open into the dinning room. It is stupid because it is blocking the view between the rooms. Well, In a moment of utter genius, I realized that I could take all the doors off and put all the wine glasses in there - useful, but it will open things up. DH said - look, we can hang all the glasses in there. so he is going to make racks to hang the glasses. and then he was even more brilliant - he realized we could use some of the hardware from the upper doors to fix the lower door with bent hardward. WE are just geniuses this weekend.
Sadly - there is more tea in cabinet we weren't using. happily it is also where we hid the scotch.
I got a book out of the library to tell me how to prune my roses. That's the extent of my gardening, thus far.
{{Suzi}} 'Cuz family is hard.
Argh. I took pain meds for the cramps from hell, and then fell asleep on the couch. My blood sugar must have plummeted (I suppose I should have eaten something besides leftover cake for breakfast) and I woke up freezing. I'm getting very little done today. And now: tuna.
I love the IDEA of a garden, but I'd never keep it up.
I love the idea of a garden too. (And I'd probably plant some things. . . I can't say that it would be something that could aspire to being called a garden.)
One of my favorite HGTV shows is Landscape Smart.
Suzi -- I hope things with the family go smoothly as they can.
And I'm happy to say that today I have ice cream.
My birthday present this year is a raised bed ( or three )in the side yard. There will be a soaker hose. I have no idea if these will be successful gardens , but we shall see.
No. Snow.
We're making do, but its harder to have fun in cold rain.
All the womenfolk and babies are napping. The guys got back from watching Emmett play video games. Our breakfast plans were thwarted so badly we had to have lunch instead. Oh, Tahoe, how can you treat us so shabbily?
In the afternoon we'll brave our way up the mountain where there's snow and pay for using some sled runs - maybe with inner tubes.
On the plus side of the ledger, Britney Spears shaved her head.
