Zoe: What's that, sir? Mal: Freedom, is what. Zoe: No, I meant what's that? Mal: Oh. Yeah. Just step around it. I think something must've been living in here.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Promises, promises.... *wink*

I will happily visit my peeps WHEN I HAVE THE MONEY TO BUY TICKETS. (Or when javachik goes out of town and lends me her car again.) HAPPY, MISSY????

The status is NOT quo.

There are some routes that are always going to suck (see: Kristin's commute to school), but for most others, if you study hard, pay attention, and have a good teacher, there are all kinds of alternate routes to keep you moving.

The traffic is much worse for new people than it is for people who've been driving in the city for a while.

Very true. And at this point I do have several alternate routes and work-arounds, but sadly nothing that changes the fact that my commute does, indeed, suck. Honestly, it's the rigid school schedule that kills me. If I wasn't forced to commute during rush hour both ways, it wouldn't be so bad.

I've found the air quality in Pasadena to be better than when I lived in the Valley, fwiw.

Oh, and did I mention that it's 80 degrees and sunny right now, with a nice cooling breeze? This is definitely a plus for living in SoCal.

Mostly lurking...

Hmmmm...I'm ahead of schedule in my party planning. I should do some homework or something. Nah...that would require bringing it all out, and I don't know where I'd work, because the table is already set.

Greetings to my Bitches! I came to post, and then was killed with teh cute.

I'm happy to report that today so far has been much better. I got a good night's sleep, didn't wake up with a headache, did some apartment cleaning, and watched me some Winchesters. And my knee hurts a lot less, though I still don't know where my brace is.

I'm almost human enough.... to go to work for 7 hours. Ugh.

Ow ow ow. Woke up with a swollen knee. Not sure why it's swollen, but it hurts to put any weight on it.

So much for my plan to walk to the grocery store today.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

DH's job is trying to kill him- mostly because of iresponsiblity, stubbonness and just general fuckeduppedness. I think I am ready to start counting hours til he leaves.

Tragic news - my french press broke - of course, it only mad one mugfull so I might have to go buy a bigger one.

more tragety - my house needs serious cleaning - dont wanna.

ps - Sara has good taste - that dress enhances the cute factor by 10

Yes, that picture of Sara is adorable.

I'm watching Drumline, and now I really want to get back to playing drums. (I played from fourth grade until high school.) So much fun, except for my evil band teacher.
