Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Calming is this: [link]

What is even happening?

Ha. I just took my first Ativan ever, not five minutes ago. I'm trying to work my way up to my first Celexa. We'll see.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

There's been a couple of times I've heard Emeline do the NO! thing that it sounded to me more like it's her EMPHATIC word, not necessarily her denial word. Like, she says it sometimes when she wants to be emphatic about something, rather than fully understanding what the word "no" means, and how to use it properly. If that makes any sense.

I mean, other times, she gets NO! perfectly and means exactly what she's saying, but sometimes it seems like it was just the only thing she could think of to say.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

{{{Aimee}}} That last story sounds a lot like me as a child.

Sorry, vw. I have no calm right now.

No!

Oh, Robin, that is calming. And unlike cute overload, it did overload my cute sensors.

So cute!

I just took my first Ativan ever, not five minutes ago.

Hope it's doing more for you than mine's currently doing for me! Must go look up Celexa. I forget what that one is....

Because books.

Oh dear. Sleepy kitten looked like me in most of my college lectures.

Aimee, today Sara told me I was a bad mommy, and I was rude, and that she wanted a "New! Mommy! Now!"

I was tempted to hand her the phone book.

{{{vw}}} I have nothing calming to say, but I could suggest you look for that painter guy on PBS. Watching that show makes me incredibly zenlike.

The Celexa is an AD, but in my case, it's for my anxiety. My doctor and I agreed I wasn't depressed.

Then I lived through the last week. I think I now have the gift with purchase, as I've been crying every day for a week, with all this illness.

My anxiety was getting out of hand, though. I had a fricking panic attack visiting Christopher's classroom. I can barely sit through church. It's hit or miss if I can wait in a line at a store. Enough is enough. When I went to see the doctor for my wheezing, I talked to him about it, and he suggested Celexa (well, I'm on the generic of whatever it is).

He also gave me a script for 15 Ativan. Fifteen. Elvis's doctor, he is not.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Tom uses the Ativan for anxiety moments. I got one off of him a couple weeks ago when I couldn't sleep... because I was so keyed up about not sleeping, the anti-anxiety was most helpful.

Sounds like a good plan, Cindy. I hope it helps. I'm sorry things have gotten so rough. And just 15 Ativan? Jeesh! Did he give you 1 mg or .5 mg?
