That's not what making out sounds like -- unless I'm doing it wrong?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

How'd that happen, anyhow?

I've been told teleporter accident. We ran out of monkeys.

Here's a plan - let's you and me gather up the rest of the Buffista sprog and go get an island. I mean - they've been talking about it forever, but geez getting them to do anything as a group is like herding cats. That way - Clifford dog, Slurpees, and none of this "grounding" stuff.

Kind of like Lord of the Flies, but without the, ya know, killing.

What is even happening?

You're pretty smart, for 2. I'll bring the tivo. We'll never miss Clifford, again.

Errrrr. I'm not changing diapers. I can cook, though.

What is even happening?

What if we kidnapped one of the smaller adults -- one we could gang up on, so we wouldn't get pushed around?

What is even happening?

Yes!!! And she's a teacher. I'm not being stuck on an island with a bunch of illiterates.

Because books.

Chris:

I'm thinking it's time for a boyfriend, and my mom taught me how to make Valentines yesterday, so I could totally charm you with my mad construction paper cutting skillz. And I like Boston! I think.

Also, I am SO behind that "square, and white, and looked like a tooth thing". I don't blame you at all. I mean, come on, everyone needs a little adventure, and it's fun to watch mommies go all purple and 'splodey.

Last, I am way closer to your age than Olivia. Even though she is really cute. I'm thinking she and Dillo would make the perfect pair, really.

Love,

Sara

(5) I just made muffins from scratch, and boy howdy are they good -- also very full of fiber and with almost no sugar and no flour at all;

No flour? Do tell.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Buffista babies are cracking me up. And making me cough from laughing so hard. Does Emeline, Chris, or Sara really want to be responsible for causing my untimely demise?

Really, the coughing can stop anytime now. I've been a good girl and taken the Mucinex (and refrained from smoking), but still the cough, she persists.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

It's a recipe that's part of the Weight Watchers Core plan (to make it completely core, the applesauce needs to be sugar-free, and the sugar should be replaced with fructose or splenda) -- they're dense but not insanely so, and pretty yummy.

Fruit Muffins

Into a large mixing bowl put the following:

2 cups 9 Grain Cereal [this is just a fiber-y blend of grains -- I found it in the oatmeal section of the cereal aisle -- in a bag]
2 cups of oatmeal
2 cups applesauce
2 cups ff plain yogurt
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla

Mix all together and allow to soak for about 20 minutes

Meanwhile, mix together the following:

2 cups oatmeal [you can substitute uncooked Cream of Wheat cereal for 1 cup of the oats -- since Cream of Wheat has a finer texture, it is -- sort of -- "flourlike"]
1 tbsp baking powder
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp salt
1 cup sugar (or Splenda) [if you use fructose, cut it down to 1/2 cup]
2 tsp cinnamon (or any mixture of spices you enjoy)

Add the dry ingredients to the moist and stir just until all is moistened. Add 1 cup of blueberries (frozen are fine)

Spray muffin cups with fill them to the very top (they do not rise). Bake at 375F for 20-30 minutes.

I cut the recipe in HALF, and it made 18 regular-sized muffins. I'm guessing it would make 8-9 jumbo muffins.
