You realizing I'm keeping copies of all of this, so when I eventually summon the army of zombies to destroy my enemies, I'll have documentation proving I would never do such a thing, it wasn't me officer?
.....
Except for the previous post. :)
Besides, the Legion of Trouble is way more fun than the Army of Evil. We have Fernet! And glitter! And call your husband the A-word!
Belated birthday wishes are perfect for when one is sick. They made me feel a bit better. Thank you!
I've been "working" from home today, if "working" equals off-and-on napping and periodically checking voicemail. Tomorrow looks to be more of the same, weather-wise, so I plan to stay curled up in my house. I don't relish the idea of driving 55 miles on ice-coated roads with people who have no clue how to drive in the rain, let alone snow and ice.
Congratulations, Jessica and DH!

So very true. And hey! You need to come up to Seattle.
And call your husband the A-word!
Aardvark? Armadillo? Aqueduct? Alabama? Alamo? (Almost forgot that one.) Anxious?
Angry?
Angry?
No no, that's the R-word, as in
Rantycakes.
ION, does anyone have any advice if someone were trying to figure out how to meet a band that were going to be playing in their city? Besides waiting by the tour bus with all the other fans after the show?
(I *heard* that collective eyeroll, peeps. Don't think I didn't.)
And hey! You need to come up to Seattle.
Hey! You're right. I might be going up to Eugene soon (alert to Cassypants, since I'll be flying to Portland and renting a car to drive the rest of the way), but yes, need to go to Seattle. Perhaps in the summer?
I don't know...
call their manager and tell somebody there about GCS.
Act like you'd interview them?
That's what...my friend would do. If she had a column.
how to meet a band
Know somebody that knows somebody? Also driving a horse & carriage helps. That's how a friend of mine met Foo Fighters.

I actually have considered that, but become weirdly shy and bashful at the notion.
Know somebody that knows somebody?
I have to start asking around to see if I do have any connections.
I could be your booking type person for GCS long enough to fanagle an interview.
