And call your husband the A-word!
Aardvark? Armadillo? Aqueduct? Alabama? Alamo? (Almost forgot that one.) Anxious?
Angry?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

No no, that's the R-word, as in Rantycakes.
ION, does anyone have any advice if someone were trying to figure out how to meet a band that were going to be playing in their city? Besides waiting by the tour bus with all the other fans after the show?
(I *heard* that collective eyeroll, peeps. Don't think I didn't.)
And hey! You need to come up to Seattle.
Hey! You're right. I might be going up to Eugene soon (alert to Cassypants, since I'll be flying to Portland and renting a car to drive the rest of the way), but yes, need to go to Seattle. Perhaps in the summer?
I don't know... call their manager and tell somebody there about GCS. Act like you'd interview them? That's what...my friend would do. If she had a column.
how to meet a band
Know somebody that knows somebody? Also driving a horse & carriage helps. That's how a friend of mine met Foo Fighters.

Yes!

I actually have considered that, but become weirdly shy and bashful at the notion.
Know somebody that knows somebody?
I have to start asking around to see if I do have any connections.
I could be your booking type person for GCS long enough to fanagle an interview.

Let me think about this. Because it's actually kinda plausible that I would interview them for GCS; the majority of their fanbase are the same kidlings who write to me.
Woot! I got some lunch time. Caught up on Bitches. Is there a new Natter? Shit! I'm not keeping up.
Anyhowz, my heart goes out to all in the snow zones. I feel your pain. I gave up trying to shovel on crutches. I jumped for joy when I got the CA gig. First thought (even tho it was summer) "no more snow!". So, I will send that nomoresnowbringoutthesun~ma out to y'all.
OK, in the sleepyhitthesnoozebaramilliontimes mode this morning, I thought I heard NPR say something to the effect of "Karl Rove thinks there are too many Presidential contenders too soon". And I was groggily thinking, damn, I kinda agree with Karl Rove. ::shudders::
I say if any of y'all wanna run, just wait until the last possible minute to file, save all your money, then do a TV blitz for the last few weeks. You are sure to win, cuz everyone else will have spent all their cash already! (as if. :: sigh :: this is why I am not a political advisor)
Let me know. I have great talent at this! I once convinced a bunch of kids that I was the actress that plays Kat in Pretty Woman!
