Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Observation: asking a coworker during a meeting "how long have you had a dent in your head?" can cause the meeting to go off-topic.

Analysis: So can explaining the Whippo Hypothesis.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Thanks everyone. You're right, it does suck. I made the executive decision to work from home tomorrow. If I don't feel better by Wednesday, it's off to the doctor with me.

Now I'm going to try and get some sleep.

(An extra-special smooch to JSw, now without added germs. It's been too long, my dear.)

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Hmph.

Dude, you are welcome in our house anytime. Do you need an invitation? Please come and join us for watching Slings and Arrows, Lee. We love your company. We just don't presume you would want to deal with your longish commute from the City late into the nighttime. I can drive Emily and Juliana home in fifteen minutes or less.

If you're willing to drive, then we would love to have you.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

You know what's pretty awesome?

Finding out that several other people hate someone you've secretly hated for over a year, meaning that she's totally annoying and you're not just an ass.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Hi, Lee! Go to bed!

Hee. I did that already though, that's the problem. I fell asleep a little after 9:00 and woke up a few minutes ago. I don't have to be at work for 6 hours though, so I suspect I may get some more sleep before then.

Happy Belated Birthday Kristin and Maria!!!

to supplement it with AFrin

Afrin is totally my best friend when my nose is so stuffed up i want to jam something up my nose for just a little bit of relief. be sure not to use it more than 3 consecutive days, Cindy, because it's addictive and you'll be caught in a vicious circle of having to use it to get any relief.

for some reason i am extremely tired this morning. i'm betting it has something to do with all the rain in the area. what it is about rain making me want to stay in bed all day?

meh. better get up and get ready for work.
