Yay dog findage. Boo people who won't release the dog.
Me sick. Waiting for pediatrician to call back and tell us if she needs to see Ben today, so I can find out whether or not I can go to my doctor. I've already booked the appointment, but at this point, I have a real need to get Ben settled, first.
I like the way Robin thinks - and so far so good!
Thanks for all the well wishes folks.
In the last e-mail from my father, he got my age wrong. Every year he does this. He is 30 years older. Shouldn't be difficult math now.
Me sick.
aww man! Poor you! I hope it doesn't last long and that this is the last of sickness for your poor family for a long while. stupid winter!
Suzi, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Yay for found doggies!
Sparky, who's doing the crazy cheap tix?
Nora, it was a United web fare. There were crazy cheap tix out of NYC, too, but I didn't check Boston.
I think we are 75% unpacked. The last 25% is the hard stuff, though. I want to unpack more towels -- they go right from box to shelf in about 30 seconds and you get to break down a big box!
The DH is out getting a little oil so we can make challah for tonight, and then we're off to Ikea in the hope of procuring a bed for the guestroom, and a table for the computer.
YAY FOUND PUPPY! BOO stoopid-head animal control people.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, SUZI!
ION, I am very hungry. Since today is "disco 70's" day (ah yes, more Spirit Week fun), I am wearing a yellow v-neck t-shirt with a giant unicorn on the front, a vintage leather jacket, aqua stripey socks, and 5-inch white platform spiked heels. Oh, and a pink feather boa. I'm thinking that a trip to Starbucks is going to be...interesting.
Want picture of Kristin. I'm shocked you were able to put on a unicorn t-shirt without it spontaneously combusting or something.
That reminds me, my friend finally sent me pictures of his Mardi Gras parade. So homesick right now.
