Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
I'm gonna try to go back to sleep. Thanks, peeps.
Sorry, vw, I meant to check in a bit sooner, but I got engrossed in writing a letter. Sleep well.
In much, much better news, tickets to Paris were $188 last night, so we're leaving for a week on the 14th. (Taxes and fees on each ticket were $200, but we still bit.)
Holy Moses I am incredibly jealous. That is about how much we are paying to go to COLUMBUS OHIO, when you factor in my incredibly stupid screwup change fee.
Not that I don't love seeing my peeps in Columbus (my sister and niece and nephew) but it ain't no Paris. I have been idly wondering if there will be time to see Ohioistas while there, but it's tough to get away during a regular weekend visit, mostly because I'm all OMG MY NEICEPHEWS. Also, OMG MY SISTER AND BEST FRIEND I MISS YOU LIKE CRAXXY.
Sparky, who's doing the crazy cheap tix?
Nora, I knew your visit was going to be short so I didn't want to cut into family time. As it turns out, we're heading for Indiana this weekend to see my sister (she wants to celebrate Liv's birthday).
DH and I finally ended a two day argument last night but I'm still unsatisfied with some of the issues. Don't quite know how to bring them back up without it getting really ugly. May be best to leave it be for now.
WTF?
Faribault 8 AM Feb 08 -20 F (-29 C)
Those aren't wind chill numbers.

Urg. I'm sorry. Letting things settle for a few days or so might be best... if things are at a tolerable compromise for the time being...
hey, all. I. Am. Sick. Some kinda virus/tonsilitis thing. I took the day off yesterday, but I have no more sick days left.
I also think that the play is just not gonna work. We simply do not have enough kids who can do it, between work, school and family duties.
- sigh*
Ouch, Daniel. I was so verra happy to see that it was only -2 F in our neck of the woods this morning. Although, it means it's probably headed this way. It's all your fault!
Raq, if you're around this (my) morning, I got your package yesterday! Thank you. I love olive oil soap, I love olive oil, period. I love the stuff so much that my hair conditioner even has olive oil in it.
On the note of weight loss, I've found for me the only thing that will kick start the loss in any serious way is lifting weights. I build muscle easily, so if I want to really lose then I need to lift. The hard part is to convince myself to keep lifting once I lose the weight. I get lazy and then all the weight comes back. However, my body, she is changing muchly with the perimenopause and I'm not sure if what used to work will still work. I've been able to lose 25 pounds in 3-4 months in the past few years, but every time I've gained the weight back I've gained back more than I've lost. Also, I'm not sure how much of this past weight gain is due to various medications I'm on, either. It's a puzzle.
