Very convincing. Makes me completely want to put myself under government control. Please take me to where you can make me unconscious and naked.

Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Warning: This post contains a rant.

I am extremely angry with my body right now. It continues to cough. It has been coughing for two weeks. In spite of adventures in nasal irrigation, which have greatly alleviated much of the congestion and post-nasal drip, as well as the discovery of a nifty otc cough suppressant which seems to work far better than many a prescription I've had in the past, it is still coughing. It coughed so much at work that a coworker who has asthma strongly recommended I get evaluated for it: The facts that in the space of 36 years I have had maybe one asthma attack (and who wouldn't be sucking wind after a five-mile bike ride on the first 110-degree day of summer) and that when I'm not sick I have no trouble notwithstanding, the cough is that bad on its own as to indicate to her a long-term breathing problem. The cough is not my friend. The cough is something I want to punch in its worthless little throat.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Gah! Glad you're OK, Raq.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

aaaaahhh.... too much skimming!

Work too frantic right now to keep up on the clock.

~ma to those that need it.

Raq- Yikes! Glad to hear all is ok! Has anyone heard about this on US news? I'm pretty good about keeping up on news, and I hadn't heard about this. Yikes!

lovin the Billytea tale. I'm guessing you are an Aussie??? (sorry, still a bit new, dunno everyone still).

OK, more to say, but forgot to take notes.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Has anyone heard about this on US news?

It was on ABC's 2am (Central) news. It was good to see that Raq had already checked in.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Good guess. I generally stay under the radar by editing out all the 'cobber's. Though I have been known to give myself away with the occasional OMGECHIDNASRSOKEWL!!!

Mostly lurking...

Oh, Raq! I'm so glad you're all ok. Stay safe.

::shakes fist at world::

WindSparrow, I would see a doctor. You could have bronchial asthma, which gets triggered with a cold, etc. It's worth being seen anyways.

I am up SO early this morning. And I feel like getting right to work. I want to have a couple of math assignments to send off to my prof today. They're almost done. I just have a few problematic problems left to solve.

What is even happening?

Raq, I'm so glad you and your family are okay.

Trust my rage

Raq, I just skipped a bunch to make you and R were both okay. It happened way ofter we were in bed here, but when I woke up to the news this morning, I was worried for a few minutes.

amych, i'm sorry you won't be at *my* alma mater, but only from a purely selfish persepctive.

well, i'm at work and I *know* they monitor our usage, so it's time to duck back into my hole for now. Oh, and work is getting more interesting. I'm doing law related stuff and learning, which were my goals to begin with.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

Raq, so glad to hear you are okay. Thank you for checking in before I read the news and had a not-so-mild freak out.
