Hey. New board.
Good evening. I am avoiding work tonight, though it will probably bite me in the ass tomorrow. But I was AT SCHOOL for 13 hours yesterday, with no lunch, so I think I deserve an evening of somewhat more relaxing.
On the plus side, days 1 and 2 of the new semester have gone very well. Students are in new schedules, so they haven't formed groups that are mean in the classes yet, and I'm wearing a tie and being very organized and serious and the students are responding. I think this term has the potential to go better than the last one, if I keep working at it.
Also, we have a vacation in two weeks. I'm going to California to see some old friends and party hard at my old college house's biggest party of the year. If anybody in the area wants to do a Roscoe's trip sometime between Sunday the 18th and Wednesday the 21st, I'll be in Pasadena.
I am nursing an impossible crush (link goes to my LJ for those bored enough to read it.) It is vexing.
