Hey. New board.
Good evening. I am avoiding work tonight, though it will probably bite me in the ass tomorrow. But I was AT SCHOOL for 13 hours yesterday, with no lunch, so I think I deserve an evening of somewhat more relaxing.
On the plus side, days 1 and 2 of the new semester have gone very well. Students are in new schedules, so they haven't formed groups that are mean in the classes yet, and I'm wearing a tie and being very organized and serious and the students are responding. I think this term has the potential to go better than the last one, if I keep working at it.
Also, we have a vacation in two weeks. I'm going to California to see some old friends and party hard at my old college house's biggest party of the year. If anybody in the area wants to do a Roscoe's trip sometime between Sunday the 18th and Wednesday the 21st, I'll be in Pasadena.
I am nursing an impossible crush (link goes to my LJ for those bored enough to read it.) It is vexing.

Hello, thread! I read it all, but find myself with oddly not much to say. Hugs or -ma to those what need them...
Me, I am ok, though I am in Minneapolis, where it is colder than anything, and snowed all through the morning commute, which means that when I picked a hotel 20 minutes away, it instead took us 75 minutes to get there this morning. Argh.
And the girl I'm seeing thinks she knows as how I'm internet addicted. She made some crack. And I was like "Oh, girl, you have NO IDEA, I've been doing all my email and LJ at work, and not keeping up with b.org at all, much less the usual blogs and newspapers and and and....INTERNET ADDICTED?
