Thanks, guys. Sane is good, I like it.
Well, except for the inventively, creatively crazy. You know, the sort that relieves the monotony of the everyday and makes a person giggle. That kinda crazy I like.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

{{{Bev}}} I'm so sorry.
Oh, Bev. That's so hard. And you not feeling one hundred percent on top of it sucks.

I think, "Meta me there," is possibly the best part. The meta was my favorite part as well. The rest I might take a red pen and edit, but the meta stays.
{{{Beverly}}} I wish I had something helpful to say or coule drop by and help out or something.

Bev, I'm gathering up a whole box full of Harvey purrs to send you for the Best. Warm-Fuzzies. Ever.
Daisy, I think the main thing is to compare the person to their own norms. It sounds like that might make quite a challenge in your family, as doing wacky things for reasons that seem like a good idea at the time appear to run in your family. For me it hit home that my mother's mind is seriously not what it used to be when my sister informed me that mom had not been brushing her teeth regularly. Mom used to go through a 5 minute oral hygiene routine after every meal, wouldn't do anything else before attending to that. If that's slipped, that's some major slippage. I dunno if there is an easy way to translate that to anyone else's quirks.
It's really difficult to do with Mimi. She's the one who told me my uncle was decapitated, but doing much better. I do think that they are right about assisted living though, because she is all by herself in the house and it's hard for a lot of us to get down to the lake, whereas in-town lots of people are around and lots of people go there for holidays and visits.
Mornin All. So. Much. Gronk.
mini-meara...
behave-ma to Robin's girly-bits. Don't make me come down there!
Down there! Hee! t Am twelve Fast-relief-ma, Robin.
And of course inside I am weeping with laughter.
Fay, I have a new, tremendous, respect for your self-control that you kept it inside (thereby not hurting any of the little munchkins' feelings). Well done! (And by all means, keep the stories coming. Adorable!)
...is there a cocktail out there called a Metaphor? If not, I may have to invent one. Because I think that the entertainment of mixing a metaphor would just never die. YSenseOfHumourMV
Except around here. You can pretty much guarantee that everyone snerked at that. I'm not even much of a drinker, and I'd love one for the value of the wordplay.
Ach, Bev, how hard! {{{You}}} Lots of cope-ma.
Cindy, glad the fever's come down a bit, hope he continues to improve. I'm a little concerned about your household's brewing Electra complex - but also really amused.
Aimee, good luck with Em.
Em. Seriously. Sleep is gooood. Ask anyone. We'll all tell you so.
Did I forget anyone? Hugs and ~ma, as desired/required.
Oh, Bev, honey. I'm sorry. I hope the rest of the day goes a little better. Hugs and loves from both me and Toto.
My migraine is back, which sucks ass so much. I had to cancel therapy, which I really kind of needed today, and now I'm going to have to cancel plans tonight and crawl back into bed. The day's only saving grace is tonight is tv night. If I'm up to it.
