How did your brain even learn human speech? I'm just so curious.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

So, I'm saving money to go on a cruise after I graduate. Today I found out that you can now pay to get wireless Internet in your cabin on the ship. I'm thinking maybe I should rethink the whole cruise thing. I may never leave my balcony!

A cruise sounds lovely, vw.

I suck at research. Can someone tell the idiots upstairs that I am busy trying to write a paper and they should shut up? t /whine

What are you researching, sj? Need some help? I'm not doing any of my own homework tonight, but that doesn't mean I can't help you with yours!

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

vw, sometimes it's really nice to be offline for a while. I don't have a laptop, and I'm also obscenely cheap, so I wasn't going to pay whatever exorbitant rates they were charging. But I wrote in a paper journal entries I was going to post online when I got back. There are generally various activities all day and night to keep you busy, so you won't really miss the Internet.

Oh, I've been on a cruise before. I know what all is there. I'm only half kidding. Although, I did check e-mail and stuff every day in the Internet Cafe on the cruise I went on. I must be connected! I also spent Thanksgiving cruising St. Thomas with two hot boys, getting very, very drunk. There are pictures! So, I'm well-rounded. Or something.

The Honors Program Coordinator has told me I should apply for this, though: [link] I would consider it if it wasn't 16 weeks away from Toto. And my therapist. Also, somehow I don't think the state is gonna pay for that...

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

Well, it's that time of year: conference is coming up so I'll probably be more skippy and skimmy than usual. Much ~ma and glitter to those who need it, and,

I fear Andi may leave me for this.

You could both move to Alaska. Where it's warmer. IJS.

Ok, it's probably not warmer in Barrow, but you could move to Southeast Alaska. In Juneau we had rain and fog today. Which sounds better when you consider that it thus has to be warm enough for rain and fog.

The status is NOT quo.

I may never leave my balcony!

I think that's the absolute best part of being on a cruise!

Reading on the balcony in the balmy tropical breezes...mmm... t goes to happy place

ION, I am really really ready to go home. Long day. Not bad, but long.

Really? Only if it is not too much trouble for you. I am trying to find an article that lists the traits of an effective mental health counselor or psychologist. Preferably something from a scholarly source or a reputable website. I have found everything else I need to write this paper.

I was spoiled with the balcony on my first cruise, and I will never be able to cruise without one. I spent every evening out there after dinner on. So lovely.

Ok...had to dig out the pictures of that day on St. Thomas. [link] (Please don't look at my hideous glasses!)
