Damn.
My mom just sent me a newsletter to mess with some things for her. A graphic that wasn't working and basic bullshit. Bullshit because I glanced down at the words and a good friend of my stepmom is dead.
Crap.
So I called
step
mom and dad and left a message but damnit. This woman? She was a lovely woman. I have a pair of pearl earrings she once gave me. Which matters not about the earrings, just I am .... I wasn't expecting it.
Life is random.
{{Cass}} the worse part about life being random , is sometimes it sucks
That's a shitty way to find out, Cass.
Emmett's been running a fever today so he can't play with the baby. This has lead to a series of plaintive comments:
"It SUCKS that I can't hold her."
"She's taunting me with her cuteness!"
"Tell her I'd kiss her if I could."
She's taunting me with her cuteness!
I thought that was the rule of babies
I thought that was the rule of babies
He's ten; he doesn't know the rules.
He's learning.
Matt's phone rang. I was hoping it was someone that could bring chocolate. sadly the person he is talking to is in CT not down the street. sad now.
Taunty Matilda! I love it.
Guys and Dolls just started.
"Tell her I'd kiss her if I could."
This broke me!
Hi, Bitches! How was your Saturday? What am I still doing up???
the worse part about life being random , is sometimes it sucks
It does. And I am actually generally in favor of life being random. It's just that this random hurts. I suppose random is like that.
That's a shitty way to find out, Cass.
It is. And thank you. But maybe at least it is good to know. If this is how my smom gets to know, that is good though, right? And it is a testament to her that she is being honored for her work in the community. That is nice.
Damn, I guess I am going to cry.
{{Cass}} I'm sorry for the loss of this lovely woman.
Taunty Matilda!
Ah, there will be plenty of taunting in her future. Poor Emmett.
Did a lot of chores today. Place looks worse than ever. I did get a chunk of Bobby's room done. And DH just mentioned his brother was coming tomorrow at 1. I don't think he'll notice the condition of the house. I'm counting on it.
