Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The status is NOT quo.

Slightly used?

Well-loved?

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

The smile. Dear gods, the smile.

Dimples.

Deep, deep, charming dimples.

::sigh::

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Slightly used?

Well-loved?

Broken-in? All kinks accounted for?

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

Can we attract you an improper Indian wife instead? Might be a better fit....

As long as the family thinks she's proper, we're all good.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

I'm seeing asking me at one point "So, do you close the bathroom door when you're alone at home?!?" and me being all "Uh, yeah...."

I don't. sometimes I forget to close it when other people are there. Actually, my bathroom door doesn't even close properly when you want it to. I forget that. But,I've been living alone for about 5 years now, so it's habit. I will wander around pantsless or topless often.

Well, I do wander around pantsless, yes. And when I don't, it's more a function of "it's too cold in here to wander around pantsless" than any modesty.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Happy birthday, Olivia! You beauty patootie!

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

So Matilda started daycare this week. So far, so good. Mostly she seems to think that if she closes her eyes Mommy will be there when she opens them. Hence the three hour naps at daycare. Which means a very alert and lively child at 1am.

She's been unendurably cute in the mornings. All smiles and engaged. You know what she is? She's charming. She's a charming baby.

JZ's employer fucked up her paycheck so she didn't get paid today like she was supposed to.

As someone who worked in HR, I can only emphasize that constant contact with payroll and benefits during your medical and/or maternity leaves is just the beginning of trying to keep your money coming to you in a timely fashion. There are so many places where it can go wrong that it needs constant cat-herding.

Looks like I'm going to lose my beautiful temp office in a couple weeks. If I'm still on this job in a couple weeks. I hope so. It's about as good a temp job as you can get. They certainly have need, but there's poor coordination between the new home office that took over and the locals so I expect there to be a bottleneck which would leave me without things to do.

Because books.

Happy, happy Olivia Day! Birthday kisses for the girl and birth-day hugs for her lovely mommy.

Must try to catch up in here at some point today.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Here is a very topical Two Lumps comic - [link] - as Harvey has [edited for spoilers] taken to doing something similar.
