Now, I can hold a note for a long time...actually I can hold a note forever. But eventually that's just noise. It's the change we're listening for. The note coming after, and the one after that. That's what makes it music.

Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Tussle is an excellent word. I also think it would make a great pet name.

On the subject of old boyfriends, that old prom date of mine just gave me allergies by apologizing for acting badly 20 years ago when things came to an end. sniffle

Aw. Sweet. Good for him. Closure can be so nice.

eta: ita on the pet name. But please restrain me from taking out my grief by heading over the shelter, finding the first pooch smaller than Bartleby, naming Tussle and bringing him home. I might regret it later.

Or maybe not, having a warm pooch like the Bboy makes being all sad and shuffly bearable.

Beej, I am much more likely to say, "Bboy needs a friend!" than restrain you. I'm very pro puppy.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

I am totally going to have to use tussle at krav.

W00t! I am such a TrendSetter!

Whoa. I'm not sure, but I think they can revoke his Guy Card for that (What, still bitterly waiting 14 years later? Me? Naaah.)

I'm revising my little January schedule. It's not pretty.

School schedule? What's it looking like?

I was going to go back to school this semester after accidentally taking last semester off, but I seem to have started four different dance classes, so I'm not sanguine about the chances of adding anything else to the load. But still - Tap Dance or Econ? I feel okay about my choice.

It's looking like I have a lot to do over the next two weeks. Not undoable, by any means, but it's gonna be busy.

Still working on the Incompletes that were tricky to manage during Family Time? I have every confidence in you finishing them in a timely fashion.

What's on the menu for this coming semester?

And hi -t!

You know what I hate? I hate it when I get different answers on my math homework than the "correct" answers in the back of the book. I think the book must be wrong. :) Either that or I desperately need Emily.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Wow. I just checked my Israel spring break fund, and Buffistas (and lurkers) are incredibly generous. (Well, we all knew about the generosity of Buffistas already. Just had to mention it again.)
