We're on movie units right now and are watching What's Eating Gilbert Grape and Gone with the Wind. I love reading the kid's responses to the movies. My favorite today was, "Scarlet is such a whore!" Made me crack up.

If they think that after watching the movie, they should read the book. Scarlett's beyond a whore....

eta: ita on the pet name. But please restrain me from taking out my grief by heading over the shelter, finding the first pooch smaller than Bartleby, naming Tussle and bringing him home. I might regret it later.
