I love these shoes enough that I'm sad I have no place to wear them.

So, in case you were wondering, I’m certain I’m hormonal. Just ate a bowl of semi-sweet chocolate chips, because I was desperate for chocolate. Boy, I hope this fun phase doesn’t last long.

Must check weather and see how bundled I must get to go outside and walk the little Toto man.

Update: It's a whole 9 degrees! Sounds like it's time for the big coat, hat, blah, blah, blah.

We had weather that cold two days ago -- but then the very next day it warmed up drastically. (But it's supposed to get even colder tonight and tomorrow.)

It is supposed to get up to 30 degrees, which is better than yesterday.

Yesterday it got up to 42!

But today it's going to be only about 28, but 42 was nice and some of the ice on the sidewalks melted.

I just checked weather.com - it's 28 now with an expected high of 29. Great.

The weather report for today here claims a high of 53 and a low of 33, but it's currently 26.

Robin - I just caught up. I hope you get news of the least invasive possible way to take care of the fibroids once your US is done. I did have a hysterectomy last year (because of uterine cancer, not fibroids, but...), so please feel free to get in touch if you end up having questions about surgery/recovery. Everyone is different, obviously, but you already know that. I will say that the recovery for me was quicker (by that I mean mobility, ease of going up and down stairs, driving and stuff like that - I wasn't running marathons or lifting... much of anything) and less of a pain (and less painful) than I was anticipating. Like, by a lot.

Hmmmm...laundry is on the to-do list today. I think I will wait a little while, though, until it warms up a bit. The basement is not heated and is *quite* chilly.
