I have very few scars, but the ones I do have are humdingers. Mainly, the 8" "necklace" scar at the base of my neck.
I don't nick myself shaving. The key is to have a good razor and good lubrication.
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I lurve my Schick Intuition razor -- I've hardly nicked myself at all since I bought it. And no shaving gel to buy!
I have also fallen for the Intuition! However, I also have the bad habit of avoiding shaving for fairly long periods of time and I think the blade gets dull (or possibly clogged by the too long hair). But it really is terribly convenient.
It's a damned good thing I don't shave, or I'd just be a spiderweb of scar tissue.
I think ita's tag counts as cheating, just because.
How do you think I got started?
Uhhh-- dunno.
I love my Intuition. I used to get a ton of nicks before it. I use shower gel with it though. I can't rely on just the shaving gel around it.
School is good, Deena.
Oh, Beej! How scary. I hope he's okay. A good dose of calm to you, too.
vw, you sound so cozy. I'm glad you talked to your dad, too. Also? Hil is wise.
Hil, what's EDS?
Hmm. OK. So seems like the scarred knees are a bit weird, then. Both knees have red, raised, bumpy scars from skinned knees 10-20 years ago. (I've been reading an EDS message board, where they're talking about that Primetime Live program that focused on EDS. Seems like a lot of people are upset that they made it seem more like "circus freak syndrome" rather than focusing on more of the medical issues. I can kind of see both sides -- it's good that it's getting some media attention, but maybe not so good that people will now associate it with that guy with clothespins on his face.)
