Giles! I accidentally killed Spike. That's okay, right?

Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

What is even happening?

I find that an odd question. Who plays around an OVEN?

Hansel and Gretel?

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Hee. Wallybee and I were discussing last night what she should call me for notices and things when talking to wedding vendors. (Not Penguin.) Apparently if we use my own name, the vendors will all think 'round-eye!' and jack the prices up. She's going to think about this some more. I've warned her that I do have a dictionary, and I'm gonna know if she picks something rude.

Meanwhile, I've been informed that as part of a Chinese wedding ceremony, I will be wearing makeup, but I do get to choose the colour of my dress. I will no doubt choose a manly hue. (Not a manly Hugh, which gives an entirely different vibe.)

In Go Team Schadenfreude! news, Bec informed me that when she gets depressed these days, she wishes I were there, because I possessed the mad Sweetie-comforting skillz. TOG is still learning how to deal with this one. Which, he will, because he's motivated and not a twit, but I did permit myself a small "In your FACE, TOG!" moment. Just a small one. Pint-sized. Honest.

Shamefaced pleasures aside, it was good of Bec to tell me this. It does help confirm to me that It Wasn't My Fault, so to speak. So that's nice.

What is even happening?

She could call you Yo Ming.

Now, that's a 2007 recollection of a name I learned in the 1970s. I have no idea what it means. I had a friend whose dad was from Taiwan, and that was his name. I don't know if it would be differently rendered in English now, because this was long before we made the transition from Peking to Beijing, etc.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I just found out the the boy's name Mulan takes in the movie means "flower pot" which is a Chinese euphamism for an effeminate man. So don't go with Fa Ping.

I did permit myself a small "In your FACE, TOG!" moment. Just a small one. Pint-sized. Honest.

Nothing wrong with that!

Yay, Jessica!

mmm...weight discussion. i'm the heaviest i've ever been and really want to do something about it, but then i get lazy and unmotivated. plus, i don't eat healthy at all. kinda hard when you don't like salads or really vegetables...at all. corn and green beans being the exception.

i'd like to join the Y, but it's so damn expensive. what i'd really like is to find an affordable kickboxing class where i can have my own punching bag. so many of the classes offered here don't have punching bags period. where's the fun in that?

remember how i had a nail in my tire and had to get it fixed a couple of weeks ago? i just picked this stuff up at the end of our driveway at work. that's ridiculous!

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

My attempts to lose weight have all led to weight gain as well. For me, I fairly sure it is because I get disgusted and depressed and then overeat and undo any good that I have done.

DH is going through a bad place right now- he know what he needs to do , but it is difficult right now. I told him just to chose to eat better than he has been-even if it just one choice per day - to get himself to the point where he can pay attention more with out it being painful.

I've been trying to practice some of things that I chose to concentrated on from the mindless eating book. Because that is where I tend go wrong - eating without thinking. So far it has made me over all much more aware of what I am putting in my mouth, with out being deprived.

This stupid cold might be helping of course. Out Tuesday and wednesday.I'm tired today . Really, I though it was getting better. bah.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I'm more motivated to lose weight and get in shape ever since I discovered that I'm apparently at a higher risk of suffering from dementia, senility or a stroke when I get older, and that being in shape can reduce those risks....

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

I have a quick random question. My friend was reading a WW board which linked to the Good Vibrations IBod. That particular thread header said it was a BOB. What is a BOB?

Baby spoilers are fun! As are wedding spoilers.

Today is a hurry up and wait kind of day. Ugh.
