Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I hate my bed. I have so far not managed a comfortableness with books or laptop or writing desk in bed. Bed=sleep, so unrewarding when I have free time and pretty toys.

No, sillies, not those toys. Laptop and dvds and iTunes tv and things. *Those* toys. Though the other toys are pretty nifty, too.

Thank you for earworming me. Again. With 80s hair bands. Funky moose.

Sleep is a goooood thing, Plei, never never apologise for sleeping.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Spicy Asian noodles.

Bed=sleep is what you're supposed to do to avoid insomnia, I've heard.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

-t, where outside of Baton Rouge, if you don't mind me asking. If Izzard was anywhere near La. and I didn't get to stalk him know about it, I'd be pissy.

I so wanted to play hookey from work today.

Where is the show set? I don't know, outside of Baton Rouge is all it said.

I lived near the Amite, by Denham Springs. There are malls and things there, now, which is just weird - it was a few housing developments, a lot of woods, and a couple of convenience stores in my day.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I have realized that having my laptop in the living room is really contributing to my staying up too late. I'm often doing random surfing, look up, and whoops! it's 12:30. I think that I'm going to have to have a rule. But I break rules a lot.

Oh, this is me!

Accomplished this morning:

Made lasagna for DH's employee who's having surgery next week. We then took it to their office so she could take it home with her.

We drove to vet to pick up Mac's medicine.

We went to the grocery store to pick up a few things.

Got McD's on the way home.

Got kids settled with lunch while I carried in groceries and put them away.

It's only 12:30 but I feel like it should be 9 p.m.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

At least you don't bring it to bed with you like I do!

Laptops live under pillows!

Lillian has learned this. Today, she was trying to pull the pillow off it so that she could get the thing open so that it would play her Old MacDonald again.

I fear my child.

Mostly lurking...

Bwah!

I have not started brining my laptop to bed. Yet. I have wireless, so I totally could, but I really need to not to. But, it is nice to just have it there when you wake up.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have been told that it's best to not bring books and laptops etc to bed. That beds should be for sex and sleeping only, and it's supposed to combat insomnia and...some other stuff.

This report is brought to you from my queen sized bed, which sees its fair amount of sleep, but, well, you know.

Cereal:

Yesterday, I learned that my lean body mass was about 110lbs.

Taking this into account, I decided to see what my BFP would have to be for me to not be overweight per the BMI, assuming my lean body mass remained the same. Answer? Around 20-21%, which would put me on the border between Athletes and Fitness per the American Council on Exercise.

Oh, and I also learned I'm pretty much 5'3", which is about an inch taller than I've been claiming for a decade.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I read and sleep (and express my love for my husband in a deeply private, spiritual and, well, naughty way) in bed. No TV, no Laptop.
