Suzi - you would like one night at a very nice hotel - just you . no kids, no mom, no dh. Dvd's ,a good book, internet, wine, and room service. a long bath. possibly you have a friend join you , but really - quiet time all by yourself is what you need and want.
I know you are the gatekeeper for $$, but if that is your present from the whole family - it works. I think you need about 24 hours of breathing room.
BTW, for the next hour I know everything and I am right about everything. Then the wine will wear off.
I personally don't care for him
t heresy
but I know some around here will squee to know that my friend Sarah got to interview Eddie Izzard yesterday. Apparently he has a new show with Minnie Driver?
ION, still kind of gronky, but at least no major disasters keeping me up all night.
Clicky fire stick! Clicky fire stick! I neeeeeeeds one!
Uh oh. I think this entire thread just made The List.
They are in a new show coming to FX in March called The Riches. According to imdb the show is about
A family of crooks assume the identity of an upper-middle-class suburban clan in the Deep South.

Yay for late start days for HS. I was allowed to sleep until 8!! It would have been a better plan to go to bed at a decent hour and get some real sleep. Oh well. Shower must happen now.
Timelies all! I don't know what I have to do today, but I think I might be on the road.
Coffee must happen. Brain not here yet.
So...tired. Must talk about Slyvia Plath in 2 1/2 minutes. Don't...wanna.
More latte! So much more energizing than more cowbell.
Huh. Look at me, I was all productive and stuff - I started a load of laundry. Now I'm hungry. What's for breakfast?
Suzi, yesterday you said something about Lee getting you hooked on LaLa. What's LaLa?
Hi all. Still alive, just bogged down lately with work and RL stuff. Don't forget about me!
(back to work. I'll check later for the answer to that lala question. thanks in advance!)
Beth - fantastic idea. In a way I am getting that the whole week following my birthday - going up to Boise for work. But I will have my evenings to myself, room service, a bathtub I don't have to clean (send me those glitter bath bombs, stat), with lots of time to read and relax. And the bonus is, the company pays for the hotel.
Meanwhile, I'm at work, got here late because I communed with my snooze button a bit too much today.
Morning. I am amazed that I am awake, this doesn't usually happen. At least, not lately.
A family of crooks assume the identity of an upper-middle-class suburban clan in the Deep South.
I read about that show somewhere, EW? I'm interested in seeing it because it claims to be set outside of Baton Rouge, which is where I grew up. Not really a wealthy area in my day, but that may have changed.
