Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

So...tired. Must talk about Slyvia Plath in 2 1/2 minutes. Don't...wanna.

More latte! So much more energizing than more cowbell.

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Huh. Look at me, I was all productive and stuff - I started a load of laundry. Now I'm hungry. What's for breakfast?

I'm getting the pig!

Suzi, yesterday you said something about Lee getting you hooked on LaLa. What's LaLa?

Hi all. Still alive, just bogged down lately with work and RL stuff. Don't forget about me!

Beth - fantastic idea. In a way I am getting that the whole week following my birthday - going up to Boise for work. But I will have my evenings to myself, room service, a bathtub I don't have to clean (send me those glitter bath bombs, stat), with lots of time to read and relax. And the bonus is, the company pays for the hotel.

Meanwhile, I'm at work, got here late because I communed with my snooze button a bit too much today.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Morning. I am amazed that I am awake, this doesn't usually happen. At least, not lately.

A family of crooks assume the identity of an upper-middle-class suburban clan in the Deep South.

I read about that show somewhere, EW? I'm interested in seeing it because it claims to be set outside of Baton Rouge, which is where I grew up. Not really a wealthy area in my day, but that may have changed.

Mostly lurking...

I'm so excited! I found out last night that there is a Boston YMCA nearby. They have a sliding scale membership that I can afford. My PCP is gonna be thrilled. We've been trying to figure out how to get me more exercise at a reasonable price. This is gonna fabulous.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Do I know these people? Not that I know everyone you know, just curious.

Emily, I believe you do know them!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Suzi, yesterday you said something about Lee getting you hooked on LaLa. What's LaLa?

Not Suzi, but I'll send you an invite.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Oooh! Lee, I've heard about LaLa -- are you able to invite more than one person?

(Yes, that was a request, if possible....)

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

OMG, crashed SO HARD last night. Lee and Bev, thing will have to wait for tonight. I woke up at 11, realized I was still tired enough to sleep, and closed the laptop. Heck, I didn't even finish my birthday-based story. Which is going to be over 1000 words. Heh.

Guess I write in SPN now.

I think I blame the steam room at the gym for the crash. Or my general lack of sleep these days. Or maybe the crazy exercise machine things.
