Mal ,'Out Of Gas'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

We're probably not going out to dinner tonight, are we?
Unfortunately, no. I'm contemplating what kind of take out I'll have tonight.
Our route is pretty much set as LA, Grand Canyon, Dallas, Nashville, DC.
Oh well.
Just means I come visit you that much sooner.
I'll let you know when the guest room is ready.
woohoo!
Poor Toto just got into my bowl of salsa. He can't figure out what the deal is.
Have thus been unsucessful at finding pics of us at ConFusion, but I found a pic of our friends L&T!! [link]
Huh. There's a guy on Primetime Live who's got Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, the same thing that I have. Weird -- I've never seen it mentioned in any mainstream media before. (This guy's case is way more severe than mine -- mine just means a bunch of double-jointed joints, somewhat fragile skin, and lots of sprains. He's got way stretchier skin than I've ever seen, even in some of the medical photos of extreme cases.)
Juliana: got it! Woot!
my computer ate my post. Suffice it to say I spent 4 hours at the hospital tonight, with a co-worker (LOVE my school), making sure a student's parent got proper treatment.
How is it that when the white teachers showed up, all of a sudden the illegal, non-insured non-English speaking woman with chest pain, shortness of breath and greying vision got readmitted and X-rayed? When it was just her and her scared 16 y.o. daughter translating for her, she was being discharged with "unidentified stomach pain -- if shortness of breath and pain occurrs, see a medical professional" written on the discharge papers?
I am torn between being very proud of the people I work with and the school I am associated with, honored by my student's trust...and being appalled that society is still like this.
