I'm so evil and... skanky. And I think I'm kinda gay.

Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

This isn't dissuading us, you realize.

Oh, I know. I just figured I should warn you that I won't be able to keep pace with some of you pretty people.

brillig

I'd turn into HappySpinnyGigglyJilli after about two drinks ...

Is there a PayPal fund I can contribute to towards those two drinks?

Drunk!Jilli is my favoritest.

I don't remember when you've seen me like this. I mean, I'm sure you have, I just don't remember the details. (Go figure.)

Now tagless for your comfort.

From clicky stick match place: I love this table set. I think it would be awesome if you needed a dining set for small space.

I also love the clicky-fire matchstick.

And at that point, it becomes uncomfortable in addition to being potentially dangerous, so it's not like side-sleeping is a huge sacrifice.

Towards the end, just lying on my back in the OB's office for an exam made me sort of nauseated so my body just naturally stopped going that way after a while.

Always Anti-fascist!

Zenkitty, no advice cause my brother does something similar, like, constantly. I hate it.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

From what I understand, the no-hot-tub, no-sauna rule is based on studying women who had fevers during pregnancy and concluding that increased temperature is bad, which is obvioulsy not water-tight reasoning, especially as Swedish women regularly take a weekly sauna throughout pregnancy with no ill-effects.

I am now sad that I have never been on The List, iot sounds like fun.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

How much does one's body temperature actually go up in a typical sauna or hot-tub? When you have a fever your body is trying to raise its temperature, so you actually feel cold instead of hot (until your body decides to lower its temperature again). But if you're healthy, you'd notice your body getting hot and and some point you'd get uncomfortable and leave the hot thing. Right?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Well, not really -- the point of a hot tub or a sauna is to heat your body up. What's comfortable for an adult can be dangerous to a first-trimester fetus.

(Baths are less risky because they gradually cool off the longer you stay in them, so it's unlikely that you'll be able to keep your body temp elevated above 101F for more than about 10-15 minutes.)
