You'd never make it. I'd rip your spine out before you got half a step. Those little legs wouldn't be much good without one of those.

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

How much does one's body temperature actually go up in a typical sauna or hot-tub? When you have a fever your body is trying to raise its temperature, so you actually feel cold instead of hot (until your body decides to lower its temperature again). But if you're healthy, you'd notice your body getting hot and and some point you'd get uncomfortable and leave the hot thing. Right?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

But if you're healthy, you'd notice your body getting hot and and some point you'd get uncomfortable and leave the hot thing. Right?

Well, not really -- the point of a hot tub or a sauna is to heat your body up. What's comfortable for an adult can be dangerous to a first-trimester fetus.

(Baths are less risky because they gradually cool off the longer you stay in them, so it's unlikely that you'll be able to keep your body temp elevated above 101F for more than about 10-15 minutes.)

I am now sad that I have never been on The List, iot sounds like fun.

I used to be on the list. I think I'm losing my touch.

Ailleann- just consider this experience for another job - ever though I understand your doubts, creating even a mildly sucessful program with open many doors .

beth is wise. I hope the switch isn't too stressful for you, Ailleann.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

beth is wise. I'm just very GAH! about it.

This is the first job I've ever worked at where I was summarily moved to a completely different position (not just promoted but doing the same basic thing), and they've done it twice.

I just... I don't want to open doors! I want the hell out of here! I wanted to work comfortably, doing a good job, and being relatively left alone until I found a better job, and could then flee with no remorse.

GAH.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

it's unlikely that you'll be able to keep your body temp elevated above 101F for more than about 10-15 minutes

I found this:

The American Academy of Pediatrics and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists suggest sauna use of no more than 15 minutes and hot tub use of no more than 10 minutes.

Not pregnant, not going to be pregnant, and wouldn't be using either for more than the above prescribed time.

eta: I think in behavior modification is it important to address things the moment they happen so I think I should wait until he does it again to explain to him that I am dead serious about that being the last time ever and that if it ever happens again I am bringing it to our boss.

Or you could snap him on the hand with a rubber band.

From clicky stick match place: I love this table set. I think it would be awesome if you needed a dining set for small space.

I’ve seen that here. West Elm maybe?
