Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Kristin, a tattoo for you: [link]

Hil, an apple if that will hold you. Otherwise the burrito as that sounds easier than a whole sauce (What do I know? My pasta sauces can skew toward the simple.)

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Oy. I just called, and the customer service person called the driver who said he's running an hour to an hour and a half behind. I want my food!

yeah. They are always running late to my house. It's gotten so that I never count on them for dinner that night, because they will almost always be late. And then I get the delivery charge taken off, and it's fine. I'd almost rather them be late at this point. :)

Question now -- do I go home and eat the leftover lamb, veggies and potatoes (which is really quite good). or do I brave Costco and get some tuna and make tartare, which I am totally craving right now. With , of course, the risk of Costco being OUT of tuna.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

This is my first time using the delivery from Safeway. I've used it from Giant before, and never had a problem.

Pete will disown you. If you want to go as a fairy, pick an artist who isn't quite so obviously ripping off inspired by other artists.

OK, new dinner idea. Frozen ravioli, with some chopped fresh tomatoes and marinated artichokes from a jar and a drizzle of olive oil on top. Seems like it should work reasonably well, and doesn't require too much work (since I'm already getting into the dizzy-hungry stage.)

OK. I have ravioli with something tomatoey and vaguely sauce-like on top. I hereby declare dinner a success.

Ooooh. I love that pixie tattoo.

And These are my favorite fairy designs...though I'm not much for fairies in general.

I'm pretty sure I couldn't pull off dressing like one...unless it was the famous 'butternut squash' fairy.

All is well that ends in pizza.

So I left a 2-liter bottle of Diet Coke, unopened, in the freezer about 22 hours ago.

More as things develop.
