Heat it thoroughly, it'll be fine.
How bummed am I to be missing Sparky's going away brunch?
Extremely.
'Unleashed'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I finally figured out what bugs me so much about MySpace. It's Ionesco's Rhinoceros. The first time I heard of MySpace I was like, "oh another social networking site." I checked it out, decided it was obnoxious and tried to ignore it. One by one I am watching my friends turn into rhinoceroses. Sometimes I wonder if maybe being a rhino wouldn't really be so terrible.
Hivemind - Is there anything, other than the obvious, that would make that oh-so-specific-smell of a just lit match?
All of a sudden today the house reaked of that smell and our noses traced it up to my son's room. His toy room was positively odoriforous. He swears he did nothing. I went through both his room and his toy room and didn't find anything. K-Bug isn't home and all the adults were downstairs. I'm so confused. He maintains his innocence, but I can't come up with an other cause for that smell.
Well, when the same thing happened to me, I swore I hadn't been doing anything when in fact I had just cut the heads off 25 matches and lit them all at once.
busted Hopefully he scared himself in the process.
eta: on second thought, has Cass been visiting?
has Cass been visiting
I thought hers was more a lighter fetish.
He is so adamant in his innocence. Gah. I just wish I could find a spent match or matchbook to completely bust him.
Demon in the area? Sory, Suzi. Can't come up with anything but the obvious.
Cass, have you tried the green Photo Finish?
Oh yeah. Isn't that the smell Nightcrawler leaves when he disapparates? Check your son for new mutant tendencies.
Hil, that's a wonderful idea about the bookmarks. I've kept bookmarks from all the wonderful independent bookstores and ''antiquarian booksellers" that have been run out of business by the big chains. I look at them mournfully now and then, and have been unwilling to throw them away. So thanks for giving me an idea of how to use them, if I'm determined to keep them.
Damn. don't love Martha Stewart , but I am looking through her book Simple Home Solutions and in the houshokld organization section I just found 5 - easy , obvious and strangely brilliant things. Like getting a fie folder and putting sandpaper in there by grit size. DH has tons of sandpaper, an this is an obvious solution - and then he would be able to glance and see what he needed. Worth checking out of you library. I don't know if anyone needs to buy it- the solutions are that simple -
