Spike's Bitches 34: They're All Slime and Antlers

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now tagless for your comfort.

To sum up my skim:

Plei = HOTTT

Matilda = adorable

It's always fun and games until someone gets kicked in the balls.

I'm glad the baptism went swimmingly.

We've had houseguests this weekend hence the scareness. But we took the kids to have pictures made at Target.

Broke my One Sweep broom (the OTB, As Seen on TV).

My kids are sleeping for SHIT and keep getting up in the wee hours for no apparent reason. I'm fairly sure this is making my visiting elder sister comfortable with her decision not to have kids.

Must wander off to make coffee.

Mostly lurking...

Oh, the Matilda pictures are priceless! Such a lovely dress. Such a lovely baby. Such a lovely family. *Sniff*

I completely agree about Hillary. She's just too polarized, which is too bad. I love Obama, but I'm afraid he's running too early. We need someone to knock the socks off the country. I'm afraid we haven't found that person yet. Very nervous about it all.

Fajitas and Margaritas was a huge success. And, in true Buffista fashion, my guests needed this picture: [link]

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

Hallelujah, snow has come to the heartland! (At least... my heartland.)

I can picture Cash's kids frolicking already.

Speaking of Cash, I was wondering about those One Sweep brooms, since there is a ridiculous amount of shedding around here (mostly done by me).

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I'm on connie, Steph and vw's bench with regard to Hillary. Unfortunately, because I think she'd do a good job.

Those Matilda pictures made me teary, in a good way. This is my favorite, with This is my second. Their expressions are so similar, and Emmett is just so relaxed and easy with her. It's a joy to see. I'm glad the day went well, and that Hec's dad and sis were there.

I have not heard of the One Sweep. Is it better than swiffer?

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

This is my favorite

I love that one. While everyone else is smiling at the camera, Matilda is staring intently off-camera at something apparently far more interesting.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Aww! Matilda is getting so big and even cuter. The dress looks beautiful on her too. I keep thinking she looks like JZ until I see a picture of Matilda and Emmett, where you can really tell that they are siblings.

Our wings are not tired.

Lovely Matilda! It was so nice to read that everything went so well. What a pretty dress. The slippers! One might suggest gilding the lily there.

I am totally out of touch with the mainstream opinion of Hillary. I have no ability to predict these things. I was convinced she would never leave the comfy job of Senator from New York. She is very clever about these things as evidenced in her huge wins in NY. In another year I'll have a better guess. I was so damn sure of the result of the last couple elections, clearly I have no clue. I voted for McGovern after all.

Personally, I like the idea of Hillary in the job more that the rest of the announced candidates. At this moment she would get my vote. Lots of time of others to throw their hats in.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

I need some no scratched cornea eye-ma. Kitty sitting near face got startled and I got a paw in my eye. I'm giving it some time to readjust before I see how bad it is.

Not necessarily better--just different. I have many weapons in my arsenal against the pet hair. But the difference with the One Sweep is that I can use it on carpet to sort of rake and scrape up the dog/cat hair between heavy vacuuming. Plus, you pop off the end cap and use it to brush the hair off of furniture, too.

We had two OS brooms but we've gone through them (albeit in five years) so they were worth the $20 we spent on them. I'll be getting another one for sure. Hopefully I can find it in the "As seen on tv" aisle or I'll go to asseenontv.com and order it there.
