[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Speaking of Cash, I was wondering about those One Sweep brooms, since there is a ridiculous amount of shedding around here (mostly done by me).

I have not heard of the One Sweep. Is it better than swiffer?

Not necessarily better--just different. I have many weapons in my arsenal against the pet hair. But the difference with the One Sweep is that I can use it on carpet to sort of rake and scrape up the dog/cat hair between heavy vacuuming. Plus, you pop off the end cap and use it to brush the hair off of furniture, too.

We had two OS brooms but we've gone through them (albeit in five years) so they were worth the $20 we spent on them. I'll be getting another one for sure. Hopefully I can find it in the "As seen on tv" aisle or I'll go to asseenontv.com and order it there.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Oof, hope the eye is okay, d. Ouch.

Just saw a commercial - "If you are worried about taking prescription sleep aids, Tylenol PM is different." Yes. Because it is BENEDRYL, morons. I mean, if it makes you sleepy, booyah, but it's Benedryl in some of them fancy Emperor clothes.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Thanks guys. I admit I was definitely stunned by the wtfness of it. Also, wishing I had an eye patch here. I'm using Rescue Remedy cream on my eyelid, and I'm hoping it's helping.

Much eye~ma, d.

I'm iffy about a Clinton-Obama or Obama-Clinton ticket. Bill Richardson's kind of interesting. Anyone heard much of anything about him?

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

From my cushy blue-state perspective, I'm really glad Hillary's running. I think her "unelectable because people hate her" problem will deflate a little over the course of the campaign as more of that demographic sees her in person, speaking directly to them. She's not quite Bill in terms of getting people to like her just by showing up, but she really is a hell of a good campaigner. And she's been practicing on the upstate NY conservatives for years now.

The only downside I can see to Hillary throwing her name in is it means Al Gore probably won't run unless she backs out. I just can't see him running against her.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Matilda's starting to look like a Greatest Hits of Hec and JZ in terms of her looks. She's utterly gorgeous.

And just think! In a year or a year and a half, she'll be climbing up on you and demanding "Baby songs! More baby songs!"

Nana korobi, ya oki. (Fall down seven times, stand up eight.) ~Yuzuru Hanyu/Japanese proverb

Confirming the Plei hotness and the Matilda/Emmett cutness. Damn, I'm going to fill up my hard drive with just pictures of beautiful people I know.

I think Hillary can win the Democratic nomination hands down. Whether or not she can win the Presidency I'm withholding any prediction until she's been on the stump for a while. I want to see how she handles the more conservative crowds she's going to meet up with in the Bible belt and the working class stiffs who vote Republican becaust they're sure it will mean lower taxes for them.

Adorable Matilda and entire extende Zmayhem clan! Lovely pictures.

What is even happening?

I don't know if I think she's unelectable, either. I just think it will be four more years of hate (not from her, at her) if she gets in. And maybe that will be the case with anyone. Maybe that's what we are. Part of me thinks we turned a corner and can't back up, during the 1988 campaign, and things will always be this ugly, from here on out.
